But since concentration camp is usually equated with death camp and since this thread is about NAZI extermination camps, you cannot call the "Polish" concentration camps

well, just because you cant cope with the fact that a concentration camp is a concentration camp and a death camp a death camp doesnt mean the rest of the world cant.

But,specificaly the Nazi constructed and run camps,no ,of course they are not Polish concentration camps, they are concentration camps in Poland.

Jena is way too overblown.

Those "boys" nearly beat to death a person.

Oh realy,It was a school yard scrap,a tussle and not one of the white "victims" even had to attend ER/casualty or even a local Doctor. And now the black kids are up on attempted murder and deadly assult charges. Please, if they had wanted to off whitey why didnt they just do a colombine ?

As I've said time and TIME AGAIN, we are discussing nazi extermination camps, not Polish detention centers/political prisons. This thread is about NPR mistakenly calling nazi death camps "Polish concentration camps."

Furthermore, none of you claiming that Poland had 'concentration camps' have provided evidence of these camps existing.

I do know that there were some areas where political prisoners were detained, but they have never been called concentration camps.

You're wrong on all counts here.

Mychal Bell assaulted from behind Justin Barker, and was joined by eight to ten others. Witness statements taken later used phrases like "stomped him badly," "stepped on his face," "knocked out cold on the ground," and "slammed his head on the concrete beam." According to court documents, Mr. Barker was probably unconscious before he hit the ground, where his attackers stomped his "lifeless" body. The Jena Times calls it "one of the most violent attacks in Jena High School's history." When Assistant Principal Gawan Burgess got to the scene, he thought the boy was dead. He was bleeding from ears and nose and showed no sign of life. An ambulance took Mr. Barker to the hospital, where he was in the emergency room for about 2-1/2 hours.
