My grandmother, born in 1892, came from a town called Myanstati, which I am spelling phonetically. Does anyone know the Polish spelling of the town and also where in Poland it is located?

Thanks --That is the most information or clue I have ever gotten. She never spoke much about it; she spoke broken English and settled in a NJ town called Manville. I do know her mother's name though.

If she belonged to a parish in Mariensztat, the church books propably hold her birthdate.
You might be able to find out more about her,or her/yours family.
