Help finding a telephone number of a friend from Krakow and Poznan in Poland

hello everybody! I'm new in the Forum.
I'm trying to find the telephone number from a friend living in Krakow, but i dont seem to find any online telephone directory from Poland.

any suggestions?

so you know the name of someone who has the same name as many many many others?

I know that there are 2 familes with this name in Tarnow (Malopolska). So is it possible to locate their phone numbers?
All (at least many) countires have their phone directories in Internet - but not Poland...

i've been here for a couple of years, but never came across a polish phone book. my friend is from Tarnow, so i could ask her for ya.

I would say after a couple of wrong numbers you will probably get a relative who will be able to tell you.

There are no residential directory available but if you go to this pkt.pl site and enter location and family name you are bound to come across a relative with their own business.

She has email, but of course i wouldnt give that to anyone.

If have a name and adress then you may call "biuro numerów" but they won't be willing to speak English, so you would have to ask some Polish speaker.

Can you please tell me how to dial this biuro numerow in Tarnow?

Hi, Im looking for the phone number of my aunt, She lives in Krakow, My family emigrated to Paraguay like 80 years ago, this aunt got married and went back to Poland some years after that, my uncle went to visit her some years ago but he lost the contact numbers so I cant get in touch with them anymore, now I'm in Barcelona for some months and would love to pass by and visit them, So I was thinking if somebody in Poland can check a phone guide and look for the number knowing the Last Name and Name or something...

There are a couple of problems - firstly, there's no 'real' phone book here, so if you can't find them it doesn't mean that they're not there. Secondly, the address you gave is slightly wrong as it should be Os. Na Skarpie and then two numbers (building no./apartment no) - it's in Nowa Huta, a suburb of Krakow.

As there is pretty much no access to private information here, it might be easiest for you to hire a private investigator to find the address - they have access to various databases that the general public don't and can usually find someone quite quickly. It would help if you had your aunt's date of birth and marriage too.
