New year ideas in Poznan or Krakow

I'll be back in Poland for the New Year and was wonfdering if anyone had ideas as to where the best party's would be. I'll most likely be in the Poznan area but was thingking of going to krakow.

I have no idea where it is..BUT my girlfriend is from krakow arera and she says theres a huge club called Bravo...she always talks about it. all i know is that its in the middle of a forest near there...you heard of it?

They always seem to have an open air concert in the main square of Wroclaw and Krakow.

It seems a bit too raucous for my tastes.

Another popular NYE destination is Zakopane although traffic going and coming back can be a nightmare !

Yeah we were thinking that. I think we'll just end up staying in poznan and enjoying each others company :)

I think that every restaurant and pub on the Stary Rynek are having a New Years Eve party, and I heard that it's quite cheap.

Yeah...I guess well just hang there for a while till we're nice and buzzed then bring the party home :)

I'm not sure, but I think that most of them will be closed parties, so you would have to contact the owners and pay in advance if you would like to participate in the party. Still, I bet that they will be a lot of people on the Rynek, and there will be fire works after the midnight, but it's to cold to stay several hours outside, so bringing the party home is a good idea. :)

Will you be in Poznan freezing your ass off too?

Unfortunately not. I will be at my friends place, near Grodzisk Wlkp.
