We are arriving Feb 20th in Krakow.Coming from the hot summer of perth west australia, could you please tell us what to wear and specifically shoes!! We have an idea of the weather, but we have never been in temperatures colder then about 1 degree celcius,let alone maybe snow!. Any suggestions?
Well you will come in possible the coldest month of the year, although towards the end of the month it shouldn't be too bad, so expect temps to be around minus 4-5 in the daytime and down to minus 10 to even 15 at night time.
Good boots with enough room for a pair of warm thick socks should be ok for you, see link--->

If you are going anywhere near the mountains which are not far away, then you will need to think about getting some really warm clothing such as thermal jumpers and coats and such like, but if you are going to stay around Krakow then you will just need a warm coat and jumper.
