Is Marmite or similar available in Poland? Do Poles who have tasted it like it?

No its been banned under EU law....comes under the heading of weapons of mass destruction...It was the reason for the Iraq war after a factory making it was identified as a chemical warfare factory.....

You can get it in Kuchnia Swiata.
Yes, I know of Poles who are fans.

My three girls have polish blood in them and love the stuff.
But then again they were introduced to it as soon as they could eat bread.

I have, and much as I love marmite, I know that Paddington wouldn't touch the stuff! This bear on the ads is an imposter!!!!

no way, he has seen the light and converted to the church of marmite :-) amen and welcome brother bear.
No, I can't believe it, the Paddington I knew so well (still have my PB at my parents) wouldn't eat anything but marmalade!!!!!! He's an athiest as well so there is no church involved and certainly no conversion!!! ;0)

My mate, Marmite. Marmite is better on bread but Bovril is better with pies in drink form.
Marmite and Peanut Butter sandwiches, toasted works for me ;)
Marmite is the most rancid scrapings from the festering underpants of the Devil himself. I wouldn't feed it to hungry dogs. Disgusting.

Yum yum pigs bum :)
Been called worse!
A ja myślałem że to czekolada! No-one tells me anything these days.
Get this stuff over here quick sharp. I'd love a bit of toast with a thin layer of marg and then some Marmite. Orgasmic!
The squeezy tubs aren't too heavy, so PM me and I'll be happy to send some over.

Thanks for the offer. I'd like to take you up on that. I'll check the new deli first but I doubt that they have it.
I've found it in only 2 shops in Warsaw, but it's about 5 times the price it is over here! Happy to help out - treat it as an early or late birthday present ;)

Quite incredible, I tip my hat to generosity whenever I see it.
I heartily concur! Marmite, shipped from UK to PL, must cost about 50 quid a jar. So imagine what Vegemite from Oz must cost! Best stick to księżycówka ze smalcem (don't tell "Wroclaw" I said that or he'll report me again).
I'll send you all the marmite you want...anything to get it out of the English shops.
