No its been banned under EU law....comes under the heading of weapons of mass destruction...It was the reason for the Iraq war after a factory making it was identified as a chemical warfare factory.....

My three girls have polish blood in them and love the stuff.
But then again they were introduced to it as soon as they could eat bread.

No, I can't believe it, the Paddington I knew so well (still have my PB at my parents) wouldn't eat anything but marmalade!!!!!! He's an athiest as well so there is no church involved and certainly no conversion!!! ;0)

My mate, Marmite. Marmite is better on bread but Bovril is better with pies in drink form.

Marmite is the most rancid scrapings from the festering underpants of the Devil himself. I wouldn't feed it to hungry dogs. Disgusting.

Thanks for the offer. I'd like to take you up on that. I'll check the new deli first but I doubt that they have it.

I've found it in only 2 shops in Warsaw, but it's about 5 times the price it is over here! Happy to help out - treat it as an early or late birthday present ;)

I heartily concur! Marmite, shipped from UK to PL, must cost about 50 quid a jar. So imagine what Vegemite from Oz must cost! Best stick to księżycówka ze smalcem (don't tell "Wroclaw" I said that or he'll report me again).
