Australian going to Poland

Hello all, this is is my first forum post...

Mid-next year I'm set to travel to Poland to do volunteer work (assistant in teaching English) for six months or so. I'm extremely curious about how the transition will be... What are the views of foreigners etc? (Australians in particular).

Also, what should I get up to while I'm there? I'd be very interested in what the community could recommend.

Anyway, looking forward to it very much!

I have lived in Krakow for 4 years. It's good, I'm a bit sick of the winters now and am returning to Australia shortly but if you have an open mind then you should have a good time.

Poles are similar to Australians in as much as that they are quite down-to-earth, probably even more so than Aussies. If you're a man, you'll also be amazed to find that most gorgeous Polish women are also approachable and not snobbish princesses.
