I need to ask about something. THis summer I'll be an intern in Poland and they want me to buy malpractice insurance (since I study medicine and will be working as an intern doctor)
Do you know how much do I need to buy for 1 month malpractice insurance?
As far as I know, as an intern you are not obliged to buy insurance, since as an employee you use insurance of your employer. If you are employed under an employment contract, all benefits, protective clothing, researches are sponsored by the institution with which you have signed a contract of employment. Mandatory contract or own business is an another issue - then you should worry about everything yourself.
Price of such insurance depends on the specific duties and activities made by you as an intern doctor and also varies in different regions of Poland.
