Hi.
I have came across this forum and found it helpful.
My wife is from Poland...she has been in Canada only few years. I'm born Polak.. living in Canada some 20 years and travel there for vacation and to visit family often.

We both dream and hope to be able to move to Poland in the near future. I love Polska and everything about it.

I myself living in Calgary have mostly been involved in blue collar jobs.
Construction, Labour, driving renovations etc.
I am looking for helpful information on how to find a decent job in the lodzki area.
Does anybody have some helpful recommendations?
We would move back any moment but I'm worried about employment for myself.
Not really for the wife as she is educated and had a good job and lived most her life there.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks guys.

Ps.

If you have Polish citizenship and can speak Polish then there should be plenty of driving and construction work going. Also plenty of work in the towns north of Lodz like Strychow and Rawa where there are lots of warehouses and logistics companies - they are very short of workers.

But dont expect much more than 4000 zloty gross - bit more if you are driving.

Thank you for your time and reply.
Yes I am a dual citizen.
Driving doesn't seem to be a bad job.
Is it unusual to earn between 4-5000 with a Kat B license?

But it is a bad job. Don't go this B way. You can expect 1000km per day and 3 weeks out of home for 4000zł. With C licence or C+E you became equal to gods.
