I've been going to school in Boston for about 3 years already and can't find any Polish clubs. I found a small Polish deli in Roxbury but they weren't that much help
Hi, There are many Polish people in Boston. Try Facebook.com. There are two groups: Polonia Bostonia and PANO (www pano-boston org). You can sign up for a newsletter on PANO's website and they will email you when they organize something. Both groups meet about once a month. There is also a Harvard group (Polskie Stowarzyszenie na Harvardzie) that meets every Friday.
There are three Polish stores in Polish Triangle in Dorchester (on Dorchester Avenue). Go to Andrew Square on Red Line. There is also a Polish restaurant: Cafe Polonia.
There is a cool Polish Club in Chelsea, Ma right over the Tobin Bridge called the Polish Political Club, or PPC. They are having a Polish festival next saturday May 8th with the Eddie Forman Orchestra and traditional Polish buffet for only $20.
It's a great place to visit and a fun crowd
It's on 58 Broadway in Chelsea. Call them at 617-884-9545 to find out about tickets
I was at this place in Allston (Boston), MA today and this place serves the authentic Zapiekankas from Poland. Had a Polish (Kielbasa, onion, cheese, mushroom). Incredible.
Try them out. ZAPS 141 Brighton Ave Allston, MA 617-254-ZAPS
Hey! Thanks for the suggestion! I was born and raised in Boston and have been searching for a good Polish place to frequent. I'm not from Poland, but I often find myself more homesick for Poland than my own native country . . .
that polish place Cafe Polonia sucks, the host that was there was so unpleasant and mean, i went there with a friend who's chinese and i felt so bad and uneasy, really embarassed because all i wanted to show him was the good food - but that was a mistake.
