I met a polish guy online... I know so nerdy. But times have changed and people meet online all the time right haha.

What do you mean by Polish? Does he live in Poland? Why is he contacting a woman in America? Is he planning to come here and be with you? I see him popping the green card question in your future.

Don't they need green cards there, too? ;)

If true polish guys are anything like american guys, I'm sure the distaste runs deep. I for one can't stand American girls at all. Mostly spoiled little rude items they are. I usually end up going out with spanish girls because they seem to be the only ones around here with any kind of self-respect and are normally a lot funner. And the accent... oh the accent.

Im trying to save her the expense and the process of getting him here:)

She can come to Chicago (Polands Capitol) and have plenty of guys she can meet in person. Instead of some facebook fantasy, We all have seen how that turns out, usually not well when dealing with INS or deceitful perpetrators.

I usually end up going out with spanish girls because

theyre hot too:)

Be careful because there are some nice ones left and just might rock your boat...lol

For the most part they live their lives Via,,T.V,Facebook, Myspace etc..and havent a clue whats happening in the rest of the world or even care,,as long as Daddy`s BMW is full of gas and the spastic plastic credit card is good to go!

Some of them aspire to be like Paris Hilton, but forget they dont have the money.
Thats when Joe Blow comes into the pic;)

Americans for the most part are shallow and spoiled. So it's no wonder the good ones go looking outside of here for partners. They're likely just tired of all the crap and are looking for something very different.

I was nearly drooling at some of the hot-looking guys, at Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Kept thinking... damn, I sure need to take a roadtrip :)

I don't find American men to be anything like that. Not in the real world. Do you live in Beverly Hills or something or are you talking about the ones you see on those fake TV shows?

Nah, I speak as a single guy who has spent most of his dating life dealing with shallow, dumb *******. When I met my Polish girl, that she was not Americanized was apparent right away. And it was quite delightful and refreshing.

Oh, puhleeze... Don't rely on stereotypical generalities. In the contrary, many Americans are just the opposite, neither spoiled or shallow. The men who look outside are just pussies looking for meek women they can dominate. At the end, they are taken and let loose with only their socks on.

Come here next year for T.O.P, all you Westcoasters!
Surely a break from the "land of fruit and nuts" will do you right:)

Give it time bro..haha!
Then they start talking to their friends and learn the laws, dont get married!!!

But how low can we go, Im so shallow, yes I know:)

I met a polish guy online

Run as fast as you can.
I fell into this trap. I won't even start on the details but run! Do not believe anything he says. He only wants to come to the US, get a green card and once he accomplishes his goal you are a piece of shiit. They are manipulators, they say they love you and all this other crap.

So run and never look back!

Haha... thanks :)

So as far as meeting him online.... (my true nerd comes out) lol....

I play this game and I met him on there because he also plays. But yeah... I doubt anything will acutally happen. But I like to look at possibilities.

What you all say about girls in America is totaly true... only of course its not all the girls here, I definitly am not one of those type of girls. And I will get this out of the way because I know it might be comming... I'm not fat either lol. I like to think of myself as attractive... just a dork. :)

The sad part is... A lot of guys here are in that same category... so it makes the though of someone out side the USA interesting.

24 years old... still young and still a dreamer... haha.
But like I said... nothing will probably happen from this.

Let me guess, Warcraft?

Amazing how many people waste their lives with such a foolish game... 14+ hours a day, for some people. Saw it on a documentary where an Australian boy had practically developed a mental retardation from the computer screen.

so it makes the though of someone out side the USA interesting

Why don't you go to the nearest Polish deli, or cafe, or restauraunt, or something like that, and go meet a nice Polish guy there? That way you wouldn't have to see him only as a vampire character on the internet.

Haha no thats not the game.
And even the game I do play I dont spend that much time on it. I have a life lol... and it needs attention.

:) funny. Where I am there are no Polish places... but I will look into it. (and hes not a vampire haha)

I play secondlife... Kind of embarrassing lol but I find it fun and interesting. One of my dream jobs was to make games and cartoons like that. But... I am stuck doing something else lol So this game is kind of fun for me because of that.

Filios! are you Amberly's internet boy?! stop messing up her mind that you're Polish, you greek!!!

But I like to look at possibilities.

yep, Americans are players... i date you, but i also look around for other "possibilities"... first time i had to discuss an "exclusivity" with my American bf, like it wasn't obvious enough... dumb a$$...

Mostly spoiled little rude items they are.

sad but true...

But I guess I'm just wondering if he is doing this just for fun, or if he acutally sees an interest in me.:)

I hope you are not just showing an interest in him to get a Polish residence permit and a fast ticket into the European Union!!! ;)

As for woman from the United States, my initial reaction would be negative upon learning of their nationality, although after that my opinion of them would be based upon their actual personality.

I don't see why he could not like you if the two of you get along well. I don't know how long the two of you have talked, but I think it would be prudent for you to visit him first.

After all, there is the chance that he is interested in you because he thinks that you can provide him with a higher standard of living.

I assume you are not particularly rich, so perhaps you can hint that to him in some discreet way and see his reaction?

Still, I don't think many Poles have such a low standard of living that they would think that they would have a better life in the United States. It would be a lot easier for them to move to some other country in the European Union.
