I always thought Tusk lost a chance to launch a full torpedo attack on kaczynski during one of the pre-election debates.

Kaczynski laughed that he'd had the police watching LPR and Samoobrona from before they went into coalition. I thought Tusk should have asked him why he was prepared to go into coalition with people he thought were criminals and why he was prepared to let such people be in major positions in the government if this was his view.

Don`t forget there was WW2 before communism. And after communism, there was transformation. As you can see, Poles have a lot of things to blame, it is quite understandable, I hope.

Don't you think it's time to start moving on, though? I'm tired of hearing it as an excuse, especially when it's accompanied by various historical myths.

Plus, this eternal Polish dilemma concerning the lifestyle on the crossroads of cultures: are we still Slavs or already Westerners? And if we are a mixture of both, which part is more important?

For you, a Brit, everything is so simple. You have never had such problems as Poland did. Well, yes, you had but in 11th-13th century, later you just moved on. While our problems only finished in 1989.

As I said, take a little rest from it all.
