I would like to get some information about dorms in Wroclaw. I will start my master degree at Wroclaw University of Techonolgy. There is not much information on internet about dorms. If any one can help me about it i would be glad. I want to learn about;

- Which dorms can you recommend? ( Single or Double room, kitchen-bath in room, not to small )
- I can't find any photo of rooms in internet i don't know polish so i can't search in polish any photos will help.

- General rules of the dorms

Any information can help. If you recommend any other option for dorms please tell.

Merged: Are dorms in Poland Co-ed?

Hey everyone!
I will be staying in the dorms of Wroclaw university of economics during the summer. I was wondering whether the dorms are co-ed?
Also, are the dorms generally clean, safe?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards.

Yes to all three. Cheap, too.
Is it important that dorms are mixed?

Well I come from a conservative culture, so it may be a lil awkward. Might as well be prepared for it then. What about the kitchen and bathrooms?? Are they okay?

I can't speak for that particular place, but the standard often depends on the age of the place. If you are going during the summer, the uni will probably make their best rooms available.

Don't worry. It won't be like Animal House. If you are very concerned, why not contact the organisers and ask them to put you somewhere quiet? If it would be uncomfortable for you to see young women emerging from the showers wrapped in towels, (and let's face it who wouldn't be uncomfortable with that? ;-)), the dorm people might be able to do something for you.

Thanks Roger5. Actually I'm going with an NGO in Wroclaw and they have me covered for accommodation , so I don't think I have a say regarding the type of room I will get. It should be okay I guess if the dorms are as you describe, cleanliness and otherwise ;-) :-D
