Let's hope it doesn't.

Seeing how that design breaks planning law in more than a couple of spaces and is clearly done by somebody who has very little knowledge of the geological conditions in Warsaw and the particular conditions in that area, to say nothing of the idea of building a skyscraper on top of train tracks, there's no chance of that development coming to pass.

The real scandal here is that city hall keep spending money on making this kind of utterly stupid design projects when they'd do better to purchase a few lorryloads of tarmac, some shovels and some guys who actually do some work.

You have to wonder why the people who make these films don't bother at least visiting Warsaw. My favourites there are the three buildings which are built on sites currently occupied by listed buildings!

Some buildings are under construction and some are already build .
Everything should be completed by may 2012

Nonsense. Is there no end to your lies? You should get a job with Pravda.
Several of the buildings you claim are either "under construction" or "already built" are on sites happily occupied by Eighteenth Century palaces, others never got past the drawing board, oters are fantasy.

You have clearly never even been to Warsaw. Either that or you are just a compulsive liar.

This movie is from 2007 , so some building are already constructed . The closest to Hilton hotel ( two brown buildings are already build , the third one is under construction ).

Those two are the only ones which have been built and the third is currently on hold. Not a single one of the other projects has started yet.

Why not come and visit Warsaw some time?

This a different film to the first one Monia, the two brown towers are called Platinum Towers, the plots on the other side of ul. Grzybowska are being built by the same company, unless they sold the plot in the last two years. This area of stare Wola is being touted as the new financial sector of central Europe.

yes there has been a lot of debate about the second line, especially the first section. It duplicates railway infrastracture at massive. cost. At least now they have the bore drilling machiines which mean it will be a lot faster to construct than line 1. Still prague metro puts warsaw to shame!

Sloooooowlyyyyyyyy

My imagination can`t buld those buildings , which I regret very much .

I think you need to watch the movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats" for some inspiration!

You have clearly never even been to Warsaw. Either that or you are just a compulsive liar.

Harry seems that you're integrating very well into the Polish society! Pure Polish mentality.

Yes it , investor says it will be completed by Euro 2012 ( this one which looks like a sail)

Złota 44 has reached the top construction speed. As the 22nd floor was completed April 19 Orco Property Group can confirm a record speed of completing one floor per week. Złota 44 is now 75 metres high! When it is ready

Good for Poland, and I think they will reach this way before 2020.

What could be wrong with growth of this great city?

And, yes, I have been there a few times.

I agree.

Unfortunately, growth and change isn't always good.

In 2040 (and this forum will be at least partially to blame), Warsaw will probably look more like Karachi than Krakow.

Those of us who live on the proposed route would like that, however it won't happen any time soon. They'll modernise Dw. Stadion, but won't link it to Swietokrzyszka, as planned.

What could be wrong with growth of this great city?

There's a massive difference between sustainable growth and turning somewhere wonderful into a cheap copy of Kuala Lumpur.

And, yes, I have been there a few times.

Visiting a concrete jungle isn't the same as having your city turned into one.

A building with huge financial problems, a developer in trouble.

Yes, a visualisation. Only. Not the first and probably not the last.

Lies. Deliberate lies. Check out the Warsaw Metro's own website. Nothing will be operational in time for Euro 2012.
