Let's see if Trump stands up for the interests of the USA or Russia before we make judgement.

One of the more sensible comments Ive seen on here, Thank you!

I say give the guy a 6 month chance and if he does a terrible job, Ill be the first to complain.
Only if Lyzko would give him a chance, those New Yorkers can be so stubborn! lol

I voted against Clinton, for the record:)

I don`t know people are you aware of one thing. Thing that strangely, we failed to mention on this forum, ever. See, NATO as it is, is dangerous and serious organization, which even by its statute have right to change governments in a coup d'etat and to liquidate people, in countries members, who are suspected to work against NATO. You know, even French Charles de Gaulle, failed to escape NATO and gave up. Just go check NATO statute. Its all in there.

Now, you think that would NATO hesitate to assassinate somebody in Poland who could be understand as weakness, danger to NATO status in Poland?

So brat is in brotherly Polish prison? To put cross on myself, at least he didn`t finish in Hague and don`t share his prison cell with manic Arab mujaheedines what exactly befall general Krstic who barely survived encounter and then asked to be transferred to some prison in Poland and they transferred him. Since then Polish patriots visited him in prison and established cooperation. What I want to tell you, in some bigger plan, prisons in Poland becoming places of gathering of all what is worth in Poland and in Slavic world. See, don`t worry, I am absolutely sure that brat Mateusz already connected himself with general Krstic.

fkin cynical western world

No, they are just geographically western. We Slavs (ie Sarmatians) are Western world in cultural sense.

When there is such an enormous military potential in the region, things may easily go out of control. Much better for Poland to militarily neutral on global military alliances.

China and Russia combine naval forces in the Baltic Sea

dw.com/en/china-and-russia-combine-naval-forces-in-the-baltic-sea/a-39816926

According to NATO, a Chinese destroyer, frigate and supply ship sailed into the Russian harbor at Baltijsk located on the Baltic coast of the Russian exclave Kaliningrad on Friday.

Much better for Poland to militarily neutral on global military alliances.

And it would be much better for you to stop babbling nonsense IMO Crow. Poland has never been, and never can be militarily neutral due to geography. I refer you to your globe. Again.

Poland and Russia are sworn enemies, and always will be. Ergo, NATO holds the peace in Europe, and you old warmongers should be grateful that you can build "Smaller" Serbia without interference, or at least until Russia sticks its' ugly snout in for a piece of the action.

Poland and Russia are sworn enemies, and always will be.

Control yourself man. Think. It will be. For the love of Serbians, their beloved Racowie, Poles would move out of NATO. Its just the matter of time.

NATO is madness and abomination. NATO is problem, man.

And why are Poles and Russians sworn enemies? We Serbians ending that. We spit on that antagonism. Its not in our interest and it upsets us. There must be peace between Poles and Russian. At least, peace. Nothing special but just simple normal relationship. We Serbs needs that. Its suits us.

be grateful that you can build "Smaller" Serbia without interference

Let me see. Wait. I taking my glasses and read again. And again. Now, what is the point of this post of yours. You want to say how Britain have rights on Malvinas in Atlantic Ocean and that France has right on Comoros in Indian Ocean, while we Serbians don`t have right to protect our own land and people? Is that it? Man, you are moron. Sorry but, I must be frank with you. Somebody must.

See, Serbia has duty to itself and to Slavic world to pacify region and silent German, British and Turkish projects and ugly schemes here. We must and, considering that NATO and EU powers moving against us, we were also forced to accept Chinese and Russian assistance.

Perhaps you can explain to us how a bunch of young kids will provide any realistic defence for Poland, particularly when they're garrisoned nowhere near the Russian or Belarusian border and when they have zero combat experience? I mean, I get that the Americans believe in American exceptionalism, but these kids will flee at the first sign of danger.

The weak point is the SuwaƂki Gap, not a small town 10 minutes drive from the German border.

Thank you for enlightening us with your vast military experience. America, as part of NATO is deployed to Poland. They are a deterrent because it forces the Russians to address a NATO member state military force within Poland, and therefore acts as a tripwire which would automatically trigger the collective defense under Article 5. No one expects 4,000 soldiers to hold the Russian military at bay. Poland's defense and the presence of NATO troops within Poland, are only meant to buy enough time to collect the necessary equipment and manpower to mount a real defense.

You keep banging on about these kids fleeing at the first sight of danger, and eating cheeseburgers. So, two questions I hope you'll answer (unlikely since you are an admitted coward). Can you pass a PT test? When have you ever sacrificed anything for Poland or the UK?

So you admit that Poland's job as seen by the Americans is only to "buy time". The idea of defending Poland isn't there, our job is only to give the Americans enough time to fortify the Oder-Neisse line.

Nice. Shows what our American "friends" think about us.

Jesus. It is Poland's OWN defense strategy (that's WHY they're a member of NATO). This was discussed at the IDIE MSPO in Kielce, the strategy is strictly one of deterrence and making the cost too high to invade. Until the force is modernized and the troop levels are increased. Go back to writing lesson plans for the ABC's or something. FFS.

I just can't believe the breathtaking arrogance in the Americans treating Poland as simply a place in which we're supposed to simply slow down the enemy. The idea of actually defending Poland Os clearly not on their mind, and the "deterrence" needs far more than just a handful of tiny bases in Western Poland.

I'll believe American intentions when they place a serious base in Eastern Poland. Until then, we can safely assume that they will flee the second enemy troops cross the border.

Well, you continue to make statements which are not supported by the facts, get proven wrong again, and again, and again. Spout your useless opinions with no background, legitimate education, or subject matter knowledge in the area, and then when all else fails resort to "I believe." What you believe, versus reality is immaterial. You teach little kids for a living in a foreign country, do you even have QTS in your home country? So basically you're not even qualified to do the job you're doing now. Christ mate, come off it. Your worthless opinions wouldn't be so aggravating if you didn't 1. try to sound like an authority on the subject, and 2. take open swipes at kids just doing their jobs, because they're Americans and you don't like them, because they're not obese you don't like them, because they're actually doing a job of substance, you don't like them. You're a hateful pathetic little man.

Facts, Siggy? You want to talk about facts? The facts are that little boy and girl "soldiers" based near the German border couldn't protect themselves, let alone against battle hardened opposing forces. As you've admitted, they're not here to defend Poland, but rather to do a deal with any invading force about the future of Poland.

Those "allies" are also propping up several nasty regimes in the ME, which means they're absolutely worthless.

Still, I look forward to hearing more about how those little kids "have it tough". I'm sure learning to drive their first car was the most difficult thing they've done here.

I don't even know where to start. First, what have you done or accomplished that would supersede their accomplishments?

Second, people are killed every year in peace time, as military training and operations are inherently dangerous. You have absolutely no idea what the hell you're talking about, this is one subject you should leave alone because you sound like an absolute buffoon.

Playing at soldiers in a small Polish town near the German border is hardly a dangerous pastime. The most danger they face is with their own lack of driving skills, and perhaps from local thugs in the discoteka after harassing locals.

Assuming, of course, that they're even old enough to get in.

By the way, I hardly call basic military boot camp to be an "achievement". We're not exactly talking highly trained, specialist forces here.

I think using Poland to slow down the advance is the only strategic option open. Can't think of another scenario which is better. Besides that even shooting one yank in Poland presents a problem to emeror Putin far greater than not doing it. The title suggesting that it's some sort of occupation seems like a phrase coined by a manchild. It's from the same dumb sphere of people who say ' trapoed by eu' which are mostly russian trolls or people from countries who can't be in the eu or perhaps deluded english dreaming of an empire long gone. It's a vomit worthy write up, hope he doesn't write anymore of this rubbish.

Nato seems to be prepared to protect Poland in case of an invasion.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Eagle_Guardian

I guess the aim would be to defend Poland across the Vistula while reinforcements arrive. Surrendering Poland would be foolish since Russia could then get into shelling distance to Berlin and therefore gain a leverage in future negotiations.

I hardly call basic military boot camp to be an "achievement". We're not exactly talking highly trained, specialist forces here.

Jeeze, you don't know when to quit. All soldiers go through bootcamp (and officers through OCS). After they graduate, ALL of them go on to their A-school to learn their job, which can be anywhere from 3 months to over 1 year of training, idiot. For instance, one of those young kids who operates an M1 Abrams tank will have done 34 weeks total of school, a Patriot missile operator 30 weeks. Do you want to list your achievements and credentials, or lack there of?

Second, moving thousands of US troops close to the border of Belarus would be provocative to the point of possibly starting an actual war, they are fine where they are in Zagan.
delphiandomine 85 | 17,823

LOL, 34 weeks of training, is that it? I dare say even managers at Burger King spend longer training than these badly trained American "soldiers".

As for their location, they are where they are so they can run for the border.
