What do posters here feel about the remarks of Krystyna Pawłowicz (PiS) concerning the 'marsz smata' (slut walk) on 18 May?

Professor Krystyna Pawłowicz, an outspoken MP of Poland's Catholic-nationalist PiS (Law and Justice) party, has fiercely attacked participants in Warsaw's first 'marsz szmat' (slut walk) on 18 May, 2013, claiming that those participating: "Belong in a zoo."

if everybody were treated equally perhaps these type of things wouldn't be necessary for those who don't fit in the mold.

she looks like a hateful old c*** who needs a punch in the face.

The things she said were dreadful. A strange individual.

I'll hold her down while you give her a good smacking.

Some deeply offensive comments from a narrow-minded woman who's a disgrace to her gender.

Female Politician from Poland

This is her. Yuck! She looks like the typical slut walk chick.

March in Poland

I wonder what these 2 will think of their participation in the slut walk in 20 years.

I think the slut walk is strange and don't see how it benefits women. I saw the slut walk in toronto and it appeared as though 99% of the participants were lesbians and/or hardcore man-hating feminists. Most of my female co-workers were embarrassed and not supportive of this initiative.

Oh dear. You really should engage your brain before posting.

I imagine they'll be proud that they stood up for themselves rather than posting disgraceful chauvinist things on internet forums.

Weird marches and senseless demonstrations may cause weird reactions in people who should know better.

I know what I saw when the slut walk marched through toronto. Toronto has some gorgeous women, I guess the attractive ones didn't get the memo.

You went to watch, did you?

Of course I did. It took place next to my workplace so I went with a few of my co-workers. Yes, female co-workers included. Something wrong with this, hermit?

They would obviously regret not thinking with their own head in their youth and participating in such deviant acts by being put to shame by their future generations.

Well she didn't say that.
Asked by TVN what she thinks about planed walk she responded that participants evaluated themselves and then she quoted an invitation to walk issued by some left organization Manufacture of Equality - hence slut walk as in quote.

Merged: Warsaw's March of the Sluts?
Anyone see or hear about Warsaw's Marsz Szmat (literally March of the Rags) last week? It was a motley, ragtag collection of clad and semi-clad sluts, tramps, tarts, gigolos, transvestites and other 'savoury' types trying to prove that a scantily, provacatively dressed and sluttuily made-up female lurking about in bad neighbourhoods bears no responsibiltiy for getting raped. It's only the nasty macho testosterone thugs that are to blame for succumbing to temptation.

I'm surprised you didn't go to "report" on the matter.

Oh dear Polonius, you seem to be saying that women bear responsibility for being raped. That's pretty disgusting, even for an old man like yourself.

It's only the nasty macho testosterone thugs that are to blame for succumbing to temptation.

How can a female ever be blamed for being raped?

Fortunately, we are able to hold such statements to account on PF.

I wonder if a respected news agency would be happy that one of their correspondents is expressing such sentiments online. Do their head office have any female managers?

h dear Polonius, you seem to be saying that women bear responsibility for being raped. That's pretty disgusting, even for an old man like yourself.

Where he is saying that? Stop manipulating.
Victims of a crime bear no responsibility for the crime. However victim irresponsible behaviour can contribute to a chance of one becoming a victim. One of which is a dress code.

The Same circles who that they are a voice of reason and enlightenment, are strangely resistant to reason and empiric evidence.
Dressing like slut and walking about naked is irresponsible behavior and one which may end in tears.
Advocating otherwise is just blind irresponsible stubbornness just to be contrary.
After all there are not movement that are advertising to people to dress smartly wear all their jewelery and flout about wads of cash especially in the places of a bad repute.

Is there a dress code on the streets of Poland? I wasn't aware that there was.

Know many people who walk around naked, do you?

They've got as much right to do that as they have to dress how they like.

Fortunately, I suspect Polonius will have to answer for his statement here.

Is there a dress code on the streets of Poland? I wasn't aware that there was.

So you are denying the obvious that irresponsible behavior may end baldly?
(sure there is - dress appropriately)

Know many people who walk around naked, do you?

naked or half-naked a qestion of definition.

They've got as much right to do that as they have to dress how they like.

so they do and nobody deny their right to dress as they like a bad taste included. However promoting irresponsibility as a noble cause should be punishable and I'm talking about organization and activists who improperly promote such demonstrations.

I think that every reasonable person would agree with me that it is better to prevent crime by advising people to behave responsibly.

Fortunately, I suspect Polonius will have to answer for his statement here.

stop bulling people delph

Grodzka is far more attractive than Pawłowicz, right?

So let me get this straight. Women dressing slut-like and holding up signs saying that they are sluts is considered an appropriate protest. However, a man calling a woman a slut is considered offensive.

It has not gone unnoticed that women seem to have a need to disrobe publicly for virtually any cause; environmentalism, animal rights, self-expression, etc, etc. There was even a small group of women who disrobed for witch's rights.

This phenomena must have something to do with genetics. Perhaps there is some deep-seeded evolutionary need to be noticed, no matter what the price.

Heh,heh, heh, not everyone picks up on my penile comments.

As to "slut walks", I've come to the conclusion that it's just another way women (in this cause feminists, liberals, wackos,) have an excuse to expose their (alleged) feminine side(s). Ironically, it still comes down to women describing themselves as sex objects. It seems to be a self-imposed double standard that they are too dense to see. I can only describe it as being sadly comical.

I dunno Polonius, you're the one that attended the slut walk, not us. I wonder if you told them to their face that they deserve to be raped, or if we should bring it to their attention?

It is interesting that you choose to focus on physical features.

Morally-wise, an ex-SB agent cannot be a nicer guy/girl/it than a professor Pawlowicz.

Would you like to provide proof for your claim that she's an ex-SB agent?

It was a big circus for years. Don't you know the history of the Commonwealth?

Is a rape victim asking for trouble if she dresses in a certain way?
