How to find an English speaking boyfriend in Poland

Hello everyone
This is my first post here and I'm glad I found this forum. I wanna ask your advice about something even though it might seem a bit silly. I am a Polish female living in Poland- and I'd like to find a native English speaking boyfriend. My English is pretty decent so it's not like I'm trying to find myself a tutor. It's hard to explain but I just love the language, the culture and due to my history I do associate my love life with English. The thing is that I'm not planning to relocate to another country, I like it where I am. I don't live in Warsaw or Krakow either so meeting some English speaking people is not so easy. Also I don't like those dating sites, so what options do I have ? Any tips anyone?

Southern: Greek is interesting too. But I never said British only. I said native English speakers. And to your disappointment maybe- I'm not a racist.

Thanks MIPK. Most of my friends are English speaking. The problem is that all of them live outside of Poland. I'm attending my English mate's wedding in November- you say there's hope ;) ?

I teach people, southern, not have my way with them like you do ;) Nor do I go out drinking and look, why would I?

I don't go in for the Skype thing either.

To the OP, it depends where you are. Going to expat bars is your best bet but you should live in a city for that.

Ok, there is a Scot guy on this board who is currently free and looking for friends (not Seanus!). Ask about d... he might be intrested.

No no and no again.

Trust me the last thing I need is a match maker...

When did I ever say I was looking for friends?

Try the Irish Mbassy, a S African friend of mine runs it. It should have its fair share of expats in it.

There is a bar down the stairs from the station and 3-4 mins off to the left, I can't remember the name. There is a charismatic American that goes there. My friend lives in Katowice and he is happy enough with the options there.

Having fun isn't allowed when married, Zeti. Besides, many don't look like they are having fun here anyway.

Hehe, bit early to be saying that! Or is it true, once they have you tied down you can kiss goodbye to anything that affects your sperm count?? :)

He married a Polish lass, being seen out the house without having eggs thrown at him by protesting Catholic babkas is too much of a risk ;):D

Davie, it's one big pressure valve ;) ;)

Katowice does have its fair share of foreigners. Try the language schools which might have suggestions for expat bars. Also, it's moving away from summer but try ul.Stawowa which is the main street connecting the station to EMPIK. Foreigners can be found there.

Dave answered beautifully and succinctly :)
