Acknowledgment of Paternity outside of Poland. Polish citizenship through grandparents

I am looking to get Polish citizenship through my grandparents, but the one barrier I have is I was born out of wedlock. If my father acknowledged paternity (he is listed on my birth cert and was required to sign an affidavit) at the time of my birth am I okay? Or did he have to sign one in front of a Polish entity? He doesnt have his citizenship recognized so I have no idea how he'd have known

if your father is on your birth cert then being born 'out of wedlock' is irrelevant surely?

I would assume so, but I was unsure. Let's see! I just need to gather some Polish documents then I will apply for recognition of citizenship
