How does "paragon" come to mean a "receipt" in Polish and Czech? Does in mean "receipt" in any other well-known languages?

It's generally believed to have come from the Viennese company "Paragon", which produced standardised receipts for use in shops.

It may also be related to the Polish words "kwit" or "potwierdzenie."
