Possible error of Poland's town's name

I recently found a funeral card for my great grandmother. It says she was born in the town of Geraszowic. When I Google it, there are no results and Google suggests the town of Jaroszowiec instead. Does this make sense? Could this be the town of her birth?

That place seems more possible as 'z Gieraszowic' translates to 'from Gieraszowice'.
My initial thought was Geraszowice but the only results are in English concerning old Jewish records so that might be a misspelling.
Anyway it's either Gieraszowice or Geraszowice.

Yes, it's misspelled. "E" cannot follow "G" in Polish. The place you are looking for is Gieraszowice, a tiny village in southeastern Poland:
