English speaking-Accountant and job in Poland

Hi friends.
I did master in finance. I have 4 year experiance as Senior Accountant.
I am in poland from last 4 months. How can i find the accounts JOB in poland.

I apply from there. But i did'nt get any reply. Maybe Because i don't know polish .

Google 'accountancy jobs poland' and if you see any ads in English then it won't matter if you don't speak Polish. I suppose your CV is in English? Try to get somebody with better English than yours (no offence) to take a look and check that it's correct with no grammar and spelling mistakes. You should also make sure that your accountancy training/qualifcations are recognised in Poland.

Not technically true, some companies advertise in English just to keep the application numbers down (but Polish is also needed on the job).

There are quite a kot of opportinities at the moment. There is a shortage of people ar your level so you might be able to overcome the fact that you don't speak Polish.

What city are you in ?
What kind of experience you have as senior accountant ?
What other languages do you speak ?
Are you able to work - I.e. Do you have a work permit ?

Well I certainly think it would be very difficult to work as an accountant in Poland with no knowledge of Polish. How would you complete tax returns etc for clients it you can't understand the forms and paperworK? Also you'd need knowledge of Polish laws on finance wouldn't you? The OP is probably just hoping that she can stumble across some role where she can get a foot in the door. With a name like Olga, she may be Ukrainian or some other Slavic nation and is probably confident that she can learn enough Polish fairly quickly due to the similarities in the languages.

If that were the case she'd already be functional enough after 4 months (Belarussian is like 60% Polish with a strong Russian accent). But checking another thread the OP is actually Turkish (was studying in Belarus and maybe doesn't want to go back to Erdoganistan...)

Funny, I did wonder whether she was just calling herself Olga so as not to appear too foreign. It crossed my mind that she might actually be an Indian man!!! So she's actually a Turkish woman..........there's always something a bit fishy when people don't give their nationality from the outset as clearly that affects your ability to work somewhere. I would say that not being from an EU country and not speaking Polish her chances of working in her profession are slim :(

You think she judges the yoke under Erdogan to be harder than the one under Kaczyński?

She probably knows and understands the problem of Erdogan better than she does the problems with Kaczyński...

In my opinition, you focus on jobs which requires Turkish language, there are several (maybe not too many) available - you can find in Pracuj.pl you can also check careerjet.pl - this one is putting together the ads from different websites.

Without advanced English knowledge, it will be bery hard to find any jobs in accountancy, to work for English speaking countries. I would go for jobs which are available for Turkish speakers.

Like they mentioned in previous posts, if you do not have valid residence card which allows you to work without any additional work permit, that will probably be harder to find something.

There is a lot of work for which Polish is not needed - many shared service centres and back offices employ plenty of foreigners and Brexit means another 10-15 are coming to Poland. That should be a starting point and you should get your CV and LinkedIn in order before you apply. A second line of inquiry would be as said above to contact Turkish businesses in Poland.
