Why don't you come to Canada????. NO Visa Required !!!!!Canada has dropped the restriction to Poland. You could come to Niagara Falls,Ontario--which was one of the 7 wonders of the world and have your American friend come to Buffalo, New York. There you guys can meet.

Why do you feel that urge to go to country which clearly is discriminating against Poles!

You do it constantly to Ukranians and others. In fact, obtaining a Polish visa is nearly impossible in some Eastern European countries without paying a bribe.

As for suing them - suing them for what exactly?

Say, why not just fly to Mexico City and simply drive, walk or swim across the border? Really, who needs a visa to enter the US anymore? ;)

Nonsense. Ukrainans and Belorussian hadn't needed the visas to visit Poland before we joined EU. EU forced us to change that, anyway we managed to push up easier procedures for them in Brussels, so they can much easier get a Polish visa than German or British ones.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IS THERE ANY WAY GETTING A HOLIDAY VISA , NOW IM MARRIED IT MIGHT HELP THE SITUATION

My mate told me a few days ago, that her friend got a holiday visa to the U.S. Unfortunatelly people responsible for "letting people in" to America simply told that person:No, you're not welcome here( I'm sorry but I don't know how it works to be honest), and he had to go home. Paid a lot for plane tickets and this was the end of his trip to the U.S.

So now he's always applying for a working visa, since holiday visa for Poles means sh*t to Americans.

Aww. cute.

How is visa refusal 'discrimination'?

And if it is, you've been discriminating against Ukrainians and Belorussians quite badly since Schengen game in.

I think they have quite complicated rules - not so much to do with the person applying as the percentage of people from that country who overstay their visa.

I don't think suing them would get anywhere. Otherwise plenty of people would have done that.

Poland must not have allowed enough US missiles to be planted on their soil... One visa per missile seems to be fair diplomatic policy. [sarcasm]

No so much for those who overstay their visa but for the percentage of people from said country who were refused visa.
Which is classic catch 22.
When pressed they start mumbling something about number of people from said country who overstay their visa but they are unable to provide any statistics, most likely those statistic or numbers do not exist.

That about sums it up!Bastards!

I don't think suing them would get anywhere.

Oh! I don't think USA government or US official could be acquitted in the court of law but if enough people refused visa would sue, that would have been a very bad publicity for US land of the fee, don't you agree?

as the percentage of people from that country who overstay their visa.

The base It on the % of visa refusals, so Poles are pften refused a visa because many Poles in the past were refused a visa... no kidding, But these are Yanks, what one could expect...

You would one of those fools that they find dead in the desert:)

Its so easy go ahead and try it, or you can pay the coyotes to get you across but once they have your money whos to say they just wont shoot you ????

And they will ask you for a passport at the border,,,, so cram yourself underneath the hood like a Mexican..lol

The best way to get around your problem is to have you brother in the U.S request that you visit him. This way he guarantees that while you are there he will look after you.In Polish it's called a "Zaproszenie" ----- this usually works .

20,000,000+ successfully have... although few, if any, are Polish :)

Better check your facts again, there are thousands of Illegal Poles in Chicago.

Thats why the government stopped giving them visas because they never return home when theyre supposed too, so blame your fellow Polocks for screwing it up for the honest ones.

That might work. If not you've wasted a plane ticket for nothing.

20,000,000+ successfully have

Yeah a hell of a lot die of deprivation or the elements trying it too. There is no welcoming tuba band and party for Mexicans, sorry. You want to risk that for a holiday visa? If you're so dead set on it try it through Canada, should you get caught you might be denied access for life.

Before you vilify US immigration people if you stay and do not return (which obviously happens) they could lose their jobs. This isn't the EU and having no job in the US often means you don't eat.

This is why VISA system should be over. And we as Poles should begin ... Europe should follow. We must remove visa system for everyone entering our countries for atleast 90 days to begin with. Every country.

any stats?
Because US government doesn't have any....

why the government stopped giving them visas because they never return home when theyre supposed too,

Blah blah
How many others nationals do no return and they are not restricted by visa system?

Before you vilify US immigration people if you stay and do not return (which obviously happens) they could lose their jobs

visas should be abolish for Polish citizens and in this magical way immigration people can hold onto their precious, bureaucratic, worthless jobs in which they are obviously not very good.

Perhaps, but they didn't swim the Rio Grande to get here (which was the point).

Yeah a hell of a lot die of deprivation or the elements trying it too

Could you please quantify "a hell of a lot"?

There is no welcoming tuba band and party for Mexicans, sorry

Who's sorry? If you feel compelled to apologize, you should do so in the Spanish language.

If you're so dead set on it try it through Canada, should you get caught you might be denied access for life

Agreed. That's why I always recommend the southern (US-Mexico) border.

Before you vilify US immigration people

Who's vilifying anyone? Now, the government and its policies... that's different.

This isn't the EU

That settles it, then... I'm moving to Europe. :)

!!!!!Canada has dropped the restriction to Poland

Canada sux the big one and is in need of white people to once again be considered a "white country"... Canada has no identity by trying to imitate their neighbors to the south...canadian big cities look like the united nations, arabs, muslims, africans, latinos, chinese, philipinos... throw in the white folks who dont want to speak english and you dont know WTF you are.... just a fact... and truly sad.

I think they worry more about if he had family here then he might stay or something. It shouldn't be that big of a deal to just visit.

No so much for those who overstay their visa but for the percentage of people from said country who were refused visa.

What a surprise to see you lying again! Decisions about who does and does not get a visa to the USA are based solely on the individual application.

Whether a nation is permitted entry to the visa waiver program is based on the percentage of applications for a visa which are refused.

When pressed they start mumbling something about number of people from said country who overstay their visa but they are unable to provide any statistics, most likely those statistic or numbers do not exist.

Of course they do. All passports are scanned on the way in and again on the way out. Cross reference that with visa info and you have the list of people who overstayed and their nationalities.

The base It on the % of visa refusals, so Poles are pften refused a visa because many Poles in the past were refused a visa... no kidding,

No kidding, just lying: precisely what we've come to expect from you Greg.

What a surprise to see you lying again!

But Perry Mason doesnt lie, Im trying to figure his connection with Raymond Burr...lol

Ironass hates everything American, and Im glad they have restrictions on Visas otherwise this country would be attacked like the Poles swarmed into the UK.

If everybody is trying to get out of Poland, what will be left of it????

Muslim counrty by 2050:(

Maybe Poles should stay in Poland and try to make something out of their counrty instead of always running away???

No kidding, just lying: precisely what we've come to expect from you Greg.

He whines about the US every chance he gets also,

He actually wanted the US to give him money because were not building the missle base

ROTFL!!!!

Thats just silly, to be honest the refusal of her B1 visa does seem a bit harsh my Polish wife obtained one in 2003 no problems, but its the immigration officers full right to refuse based on the answers to his questions. Perhaps she said something wrong, maybe she is intending on staying illegally, theres always to sides to a story. There are absolutely no grounds to sue on, if there was think how many millions of other cases would be brought against the US system.

The fact that 100's of thousands of Poles get a visa and then dissapear over there is the main problem.

TO GO ON A HOLIDAY TO NEW YORK WITH MY THEN BOYFRIEND
