Juche 9 | 292 20 Jan 2010 / #1Theoretical question: what is the safest way to transfer cash from a Polish bank to a Canadian bank without getting hassled by the man? Looking to pay the least ammt of fees possble, maximum safety, and all that good stuff on sum of about PLN 80,000. These of course are not any kind of illegal funds by the way.

I'm looking to open a bank account, which ones should I look into? I'm looking for something that will allow me to transfer money from my Canadian to Polish account on a monthly basis, so one that allows for cheap international transfers. Also a good customer service/website in English is necessary. Any thoughts?? Thanks
kpc21 1 | 746 23 Oct 2015 / #5A more important for you is to choose a proper account in a Canadian bank, from which the international transfers will be cheap.Check Alior Kantor: kantor.aliorbank.plYou can open there a Polish account in Canadian dolars, transfer your money from Canada to this account and exchange it to PLN using their online exchange service for a better exchange rate then with a standard bank transfer directly to an account in PLN (when the money would be probably exchanged first to US dollars and then to PLN).
