I bought a watch from amazon.com. Since the 11th of december it has the Package available for clearance in Warsaw. Now it's the 16 of december. It has been like that for 5 business days and I don't know if I should do something about this. How are the customs here? How long it usually takes for a package to get here from USA?
Fedex shipment to Lodz from USA?
You should call the local FedEx office in £odz then...

Polish postal service for international mail is one of the the slowest in the world...
If Amazon has not sent it through UPS or as a registered parcel it might be stolen.
Please keep us posted about when/ you receive your watch.

LwowskaKrakow: they said it was sent FedEx. Why would Poczta Polska be involved???
Where do you get the statistic that the post here is one of the slowest in the world? I use it regularly for business mail, and find it quite efficient.

Ok so it arrived on the 27 of December, like suggested. But I had to phone fedex poland and afterwards I had to fill in some forms stating the value of the package, send them by email AND post and also translate in polish the invoice... And when it camed i paid something like 130zl VAT and custom tax. So in the end the watch cost me the same if I would bought it from amazon.de or amazon.it, but it camed in 3 weeks. Oh well, live and learn.

You're best off using amazon.co.uk: free delivery on orders over £25 (and delivery usually only takes four or five working days).
