Look, let's be honest, you guys prefer going to the UK and such because it's not easy for you to obtain visa to the US.
Hmm, I never even thought about applying for visa, never took part in Green Card lottery, nothing like that and my friends didn't either. You are right that all these regulations put ppl off but not as many as you'd think imo
1.)The current population of PolishAmericans is about 10,000,000 of
whom approximately 500,000 were born in PolandCompare it to:
The 2001 UK Census recorded 60,711 Polish-born people resident in the UK.[31] 60,680 of these were resident in Great Britain (the UK minus Northern Ireland), compared to 73,951 in 1991.[32] With the migration that has followed Poland's accession to the EU, the Polish-born population in the whole of the UK is estimated to have risen to 515,000 in the year to March 2010.[22] Unofficial estimates have put the number of Poles living in the UK higher, at up to one million
And this is only UK. So even if the emigration to US doubled it would still be less popular than the EU.
It's just a stupid regulation that needs to be changed ASAP.
US government may do as they wishes however in my opinion it should be equal- visa for visa. If we can't travel there without visa we should start visas for Americans as well.
