Scots better than Poles?

The inventor of the kilt was an English Quaker from Lancashire, Thomas Rawlinson.

And many hundreds of years before him folk were in the north were already doing it...

The Kilt was dress for the lairds never for the common folk as myth would have you believe. Can you imagine the Scots folk walking the glens or going to the village in a kilt in winter : - )

quite interesting tho that the myth of 'scottishness' such as the kilt, the bagpipes, braveheart was all an english invention to make large wads of cash.

The kilt was a practical dress wear for gaelic tribes long before the romantics took the notion. According to the Romans ect.

Kilt, or plaid depending on what historical evidence you choose to follow is far older than a 16th century's modern romance with the highlands. It was firstly used as a blanket that would be tied around the waist. I guess you think folk walked about in adidas tracksuits lol

i wouldn`t tell that are Scots better then Poles. Comparison is here impossible. That, for one simple reason. In case of both- Poles and Scots, we speak of people of extraordinary quality, beauty and virtue. Their mutual loyalty to our common Sarmatian roots means a lot of to us Serbians. One can hardly say which of them, Poles or Scots, shows greater solidarity with Serbs over Kosovo. As noble Sean Connery often says: ``Kosovo is Serbia``, no matter that is for that his life threatened by Albanian mafia gangs.
