Merged: Polskafest 2010. Polish Beer, Polish Food & Polish Music!

O.K. I'm in early talks with an established concert promoter in the East Midlands about launching a 1 day festival of all things Polish sometime in early August.

We have approached some bands, both British based and Polish based. I can give no names, but one band is a major force in Polish rock/pop and one is an electro pop artist. These guys would command quite a fee, so we need to have an early idea of interest to give us an idea of a budget for our plans.

Our idea is this:

4 live bands
Celebrity announcer/presenter.
Food and drink stalls selling all our national goodies - Tyskie/Żywiec/Lech/Zapiekanka/ Kiełbasą/Placki/Bigos etc. etc.

We have asked at 4 different outdoor venues with capacity up to 15,000 people (Yes, we are that serious) and are working on a price of £15 to £18 a ticket, which, if we sell enough tickets would possibly include a raffle prize of a family holiday too.

Pass the word around and fill up this message with some positive replies, we can't wait to get this thing moving!!!!!

Poland Rocks the U.K.!!!!!

Regards

knight
