Well I worked for the MOJ and have seen many EPOs being brought by Social Workers who have an axe to grind with the parent.

I watched a young girl screaming flat out on the ground because her children had been taken away and the so called Social Worker smirking to herself and asking to be let out the back entrance to avoid " confrontation " with relatives.

Many a Social Worker should not be working in that line of work, in fact I wouldn't trust most ive seen in the courts with serving me a Burger.

what is MOJ? (ministry of Justice?)
and EPOS? oh okay, emergency place of safety?
I believe that some social workers have an axe to grind and have a personal vendetta against certain parents.
Single mothers who do not act shame-faced enough for example. In my area, incomers without family support.
Just a couple of examples.
I have seen a SW report where the mother is castigated for there being 'faeces in the toilet bowl' for example.

Absolutely true. They work by the rule book, but all too often situations arent black and white.

EPO is an Emergency Protection Order.

I've seen visibly drunken women in court allowed to keep children, just as long they do and say EVERYTHING the Social Worker asks, and they do it.

Other don't and get children taken away, it's disgusting. Be afraid of Social Workers, be very afraid!.

I will second that.
Some of them are expert at ...let's call it exaggeration.
for example a table with a few cups and papers on it will become ' a table strewn with debris'.
A child's unbrushed hair will become ' matted hair'.
etc etc
