Well, I for one would love to see those particular immigrants deported, as they are clearly not able to fend for themselves and are becoming a nuisance, while creating very negative stereotypes for the Daily Mail to use against the rest of the Polish community in the UK.

These immigrants are not creating stereotypes, it is The Daily Mail which is creating stereotypes of Polish people on the basis of these immigrants.

Very well then, they are the living and breathing basis for the creation of said stereotypes. Does it make a difference to what I said?

I agree 100% Not all Poles in the UK cause problems but it seems you have exported quite a lot of drink driving respectless kurwa boys which cause problems and detract from image the hard working skilled people who are there earning an honest crust.

Yes, it does. If the Daily Mail (and other sources) did not create and propagate the said stereotypes, repetedly presenting the behaviours of some (!), these people could not fuel any of such, even if they wanted to.

If the DM didn't, then surely the good people of Peterborough still have eyes to see for themselves? And you know, I hope, that gossip travels fast and grows in leaps and bounds ;-)

Frankly, I am deeply ashamed that my fellow countrymen have decided to make such asses of themselves so publicly. I know I cannot be responsible for their actions, but I resent the fact that they are effectively dragging me down to their level.

Good commentary, Magda. I find it hard to believe that MOPS couldn't provide an effective service for them here and give them the basics. When people have their physiological needs fulfilled, they can do so much more after that. Maslow's Theory :)

Badgers are awful things, vicious, ruin gardens and they do spread TB to cattle, when the cattle are your livelyhood you need to protect them at all costs.

About eating swans by Poles? Don't be ridiculous, swans are not on the menu in Poland.
It makes as much sense as claim that British are eating canaries!
On the other hand swans are on the menu in Britain as a royal dish!
So, it quite possible that some British swan eater paid some Poles to deliver to him his favourite meat! Hence the story!

I never heard about polish eating swans in poland mainly coz some stories connect swans with death. To be honest I heard stories about illegal hunting but they are connected with boars, deers, wild ducks, hares, partridges, pheasants.

The Mail used to be a half-decent paper (many years ago), needless to say I don't bother with it anymore- unless I need a good laugh. If anyone wants a giggle I can recommend their website, particularly the message board, with comments (translation: raves), by their semi-literate readership. Honestly, I don't know how anyone can take it seriously.

Swans are protected by royal a charter, and Cambridge University serve it every year at
the Cambridge Ball. They have a dispensation from the Queen to do so, its one of the highlights of the dinner. I went one year and tried it, and believe me once was enough. My sympathy is with any poor people who are forced by circumstances to eat it. I would take great pleasure in force feeding it, feathers and all to a certain racist Dublin Nationalist who infects this forum. What is a Dublin Nationalist is it the equivalent of the BNP in Britain.

Serve it up with a bit of cranberry sauce and we are in business.
