Where to buy Jadwiga/Lubelski Polish Poltorak mead in the UK?

I can't seem to find this stuff anywhere except as part of boxed sets on Beersofeurope.co.uk

I tried the local "Smaczek" but they only seem to have beer, not mead, wine, or spirits.

I live in Reading, Berkshire. Does anyone know of any local shops that sell it?

Or online shops, for that matter.

They are (the only?) importers of some of Polish meads (and other alcoholic beverages) supplying shops in London and all around the UK.
Maybe ask them where you can get it in your area.

I already tried that, alas. All Poltom did was tell me to look on Beersofeurope.co.uk

Which is how I got the three mead boxed set containing Jadwiga.

But that's all they have. I have found another importer that actually lists Lubelski and Jadwiga on its list of products, and I've emailed them. No reply as yet.

I looked on the Internet too and couldn't find anything. Your best bet is to go round the Polish shops in Reading (and the other East European ones are maybe a better bet for various reasons) - that or get a Ryanair flight to Poland and come back with a suitcase full as well as having a nice trip!

It is seriously stupid that there's no way to search for which shops sell the stuff using the internet...

I only know of a few Polish shops around here. There's one I haven't tried which I'm told has Vodka etc...

Today I checked every local Polish shop I could find. Several Delis, and one off license/alcohol shop selling all kinds of weird vodka etc.

Not one had mead.

Where the hell do people buy it!?

It's not Reading, but there's a few shops in London that specialise in exotic alcohols. One on Compton Street W1 that has a god selection of Polish drinks.

I've just looked at their website and they don't seem to have it, but I've emailed them asking if there's any chance of them importing some if I'm willing to buy it in bulk.
