Onion Knight
19 Dec 2018 / #1
Hello
I am going to Krakow in a month, and I am super excited about it. However I have a severe onion intolerance (if I eat anything cooked with or garnished with onion I will spend the next 3 to 4 hours in a toilet with explosive dhiarroea, resulting in a sore anus, dehydration and a lost day for sightseeing). To add to the complication I also don't eat meat (I do eat fish though). So my questions are:
Any suggestions on foods/dishes that I can or cannot eat?
Any suggested restaurants that cater to intolerances and alergies?
Will people understand the issue easily? (in some countries it is easier than others for the waiters and chefs to understand and accomodate to the issue)
Am I doomed?
Thank you
