is spanish popular in warsaw, or is english more common to hear?
After Polish,
1.English
2.Russian although many prefer not to use it.
3.German
4.French
5.Spanish/Italian
It is all about the foreign investors and the language needs, although Spanish is becoming more popular and many Spanish schools are popping up in Warsaw.

decor-ating it sounds to me that your travels to PL did not go so well, maybe you should ask for a places to stay and go in PL from the members of Polish forum.
