What similarities would you say there are between Poles and Mexicans?

Uh... MediaWatch, really.

Poles are quite conservative in sport - while the ultras in football might not be, the vast majority of spectator sports feature lifeless crowds.

I go to a hell of a lot of sporting events, and trust me - Polish sport fans are conservative.

Both countries have some of the best food in the world

Residents of both countries are considered to have very good work ethic

Both countries have very questionable neighbors to the East

That's a point I agree with. Some of the previous posts are completely pointless.

They both steal and assault helpless victims.

Their women are both very easy.

Poles don't immigrate here illegally.

They both steal and assault helpless victims.

Nice to see all this wonderful "on-topic" anti-Polish racism on here tonight :p

Everything always seems to degenerate into ethnic slurs on here. Start a thread on food, and someone will be discussing the "Jewish question" by post #10.

Really, the only thing they have in common is the Catholic church and that's it. Besides that, Mexicans are nothing like Poles. For one thing, they have completely different histories. Another thing, Mexicans speak Spanish, Poles speak Polish.

Mexico is a tropical country, Poland a frigid. Poles and Mexicans look nothing alike. I mean really, what do they honestly have in common besisides the church and being the same species? Hardly anything.

You obviously know nothing about either country to make such an ignorant statement.

Oh yes the most important difference of all. Mexico grows coconuts. Poland does not.

Yup. And to prove the point how many Mexican/Polish marriages do you see in the states? Virtually Zilch.

Poland is the Mexico of Europe lol

I hope so as far as their birthrates.

Poland could be like Mexico if the Polish birthrate increased all over Europe a little more, which is a good thing.

No matter what people think of Mexicans/Mexico, the Mexicans are becoming a powerful political force in North America/America because of their biologic strength, ie growing population.

The birth rate in Poland has stayed the same (grown in some areas of Poland), but at least the Polish birth rate in Britain and other countries has picked up.

Mexican people are generally people who were born in Mexico or live someplace else and have Mexican heritage. So I guess you can't be authentic Mexicanos unless you have ancestry or are a national.

What's to the east of Mexico besides an ocean?

Mexicans don't eat cabbage with their burritos.

He means US to the NORTH of Mexico while Russia is East of Poland unless he means Germany then it would be West. However, US is not questionable to Mexico. We have always had a good relationship since the Alamo thing.

And Poles don't have those little Chihuahua dogs following them around, either.

Yes we do!!! It's more like Latinos now have lots more Pitbulls as pets.

But, it's not as if pitbulls are exclusively Latino pets. There are plenty of declasse Anglos that keep them too.

I didn't say they were exclusively for Latinos. Take a drive though ELA (if you dare). Seems like you see a minimum of one Pitbull per household. You can see them guarding their owner's property, through rod iron fences.

Where I live Mexicans LOVE their Chihuahuas more than any other breed.
Gidget is the shiniest doggie I've ever seen, Beckski.

I didn't say they were exclusively for Latinos.

Indeed, I was at an apartment this weekend, in coastal OC, and they had a pitbull, and after I left one of my friends told me that the guy living there was of Polish ancestry and so it seems that Polonia keeps both chihuahuas and pitbulls like our Mexican brethren.

Poland??

Residents of both countries are considered to have very good work ethic

Mexicans??

An another difference: polish girls are on average quite pretty, whereas IMHO the opposite is true for Mexicanas (hope I have offended no one)
