Is it possible that Polish president was assasinated? If so then, by whom?

The big mystery is why the pilots kept attempting the landing after being strongly recommended to go elsewhere.

I think the reason is the same why the airport wasn't closed: politics and diplomacy instead of technical and professional arguments.

I wonder if the official Polish report will acknowledge this?

Not sure we will find it in any report - they will report technical matters and who did what and when - not why.

They are professionals, establishing what happened is the first step, why it happened is the next step.

why it happened is the next step.

We will see. I think it's a field for journalists and politicians to collect harwest.

Does anyone know when the TAWS was installed? Was it during the overhaul in December 2009 in Russia?

"If the safety device was working properly, it would be the first such crash of an aircraft equipped with the system since its introduction in the late 1990s.

The fact that the jet had a TAWS device "opens more questions than it answers," said John Cox, a safety consultant and former accident investigator.

"I really would like to know what was going on in that flight deck because no matter what kind of pressure other pilots have been under or what kind of weather they encountered, no pilot has ignored a TAWS warning. What is so different about this plane that it would break that chain?" Cox said."

"The aircraft had undergone a major overhaul in December 2009...The airplane had received a 5-year/7500-flight-hour warranty after the overhaul and the crash happened after just 138 flight hours."

Did anyone else notice that the Pilot looked a lot like the Russian version of James Bond?

to reply to the original question...no, it's not possible...

Although the volcano erupting may have been planned so that Western European leaders and Obama couldn't attend and then the world would see bonds being repaired between some of the Slavic nations...please, come on and dont even bother with conspiracies, there are no conspiracies, y'all need to stop smoking so much weed/crack and you wont be so paranoid

:)

Any ideas why?

Sure...Attack primarily directed against Russia/Putin...Like Metro attack...West is again in a 'cold war' with Russia over pipelines, resources and Russian policy with Iran...All intelligence services/mafiya operate in Caucasus, which is pipeline route, and next to Caspian oul/gas fields, and Iran...Where you think Chechen rebels get money from?...Jewish oligarchs in London, Israel, elsewhere, CIA slush fund money too.

West/Zionists/NWO do not wish to see better relations between Poland and Russia...No 'Slavic unity' odf any kind in NWO allowed...So, kill two birds, one stone...Humiliate Russians at site of Katyn, wipe out 'right wing' Polish leadership, smooth way for Sikorski, favorite of Rothschilds, to move in...Actually, West give a sh*t about Kaczynski, but he serve a purpose dead.

Also, London/Brussels bankers did not like devaluation of złoty...This action showed too much independence for NWO/EU crowd...Poland must be kept 'off to the side' unless it wishes to join global plantation system fully...What a couple dead Poles to them?...Remember the 'loyalty' of Allies at Yalta and elsewhere?

On related threads I post RIA Novosti 'dramatization' of crash...Video animation clearly shows plane EXPLODING right before touchdown...Wing hitting treetop, especially the relatively light trees near airport, DO NOT CAUSE EXPLOSION.

Of course, this only 'dramatization'...But guess what?...Findings from 'black box' recovery will very likely never be made public, as contents will be too inflammatory...Announcing bomb or explosion will mean head on collision with 'certain elements'...Do Russia or Poland want this?

Just MHO, but I try to answer your question.

Back to the question. Anyone? According to some sources, this plane only had approx. 130 flight hours. And it's not too farfetched to comapare a Russian aviation maintenance facililty can to an alcohol rehab facility with an attached trade school ;-)

Olga, if the russians can get a man into space at regular intervals they can fix a plane. the techs working on aircraft are not idiots.

That's all fine and good, but if nobody can even answer the question of whether or not it was installed/overhauled at the Russian facility then a f*ck-up shouldn't be ruled out. The plane only had about 130 flight hours on it, so if turns out that it had indeed been worked on by the Russians AND it wasn't functioning properly, what does that tell you?

From the beginning her stance has been that the russians did this on purpose.

Correction--from the beginning my stance has been "do not blame the pilot so quickly. Proper investigations take months with thorough inspection of all components." Why was instrument error ruled out soooo quickly? What was it--only a day before everyone was squawking about pilot error?

what does that tell you?

It tells me that a Polish pilot didn't check it, report it or get it repaired (during the first of those 130 hours) Which of course is highly unlikely.

I fully agree that's highly unlikely--so what are you left with? Why would an experienced pilot have "ignored" the TAWS warning?

Why would an experienced pilot have "ignored" the TAWS warning?

I doubt he or the co-pilot did ignore it. They may have switched it off just after it sounded, but I can't offer more than that.

Russians are not dumb...Where was the plane last serviced, in Russia or Poland?...Where did it take off from, and were the mechanics questioned?...Who had access to plane before flight?

Could you refer me to a text explaining why bodies of dead in this event were in Moscow till today?

huh? Haven't all the bodies been returned to Warsaw? I'm pretty sure all this has been shown on TVN24 and other stations. Where do you get your info?

Video animation clearly shows plane EXPLODING right

If somebody made a video of the plane being eaten by a giant chicken you would believe that also i suppose....

its a animation....not a video of the actual crash....its not evidence....

Where was the plane last serviced,

i imagine that it's serviced before or after each flight, which would mean that polish ground crew were the last to service it. I understand the last full/detailed service, some time ago, was in russia.

I don't think any explosions visibly occured in any films, joe. Not the ones I've seen.

That's what I mean--until it's proven that they indeed switched it off, any talk of pilot error is far too premature. Same goes for proving what the controllers told him. They fully had the right to forbid landing. Let's not forget, many crashes have been the result of controllers' errors and inconsistencies in relaying information:

Here's an example--Accident investigation report of Georgian crash.

bea-fr.org/docspa/2006/ek-9060502/pdf/ek-9060502.pdf

Note the shortcomings in section 4, beginning on page 52, including:

"...according to the AIP of Russia the controller had a right to forbid the landing. It should
be noted that a number of AIP items contradict each other and are ambiguous."

wildrover

I clearly stated this...However, we have no definitive explanation of what happened, and I really don't expect any in public...So, a bomb is a possibility...And I was curious as to why RIA would print such an animation...I have many questions....Bombs are fairly easy to affix to an airplane if one has access, and they can work many ways, i.e. barometric, triggered to airspeed or altitude, etc.

He is talking about some animation made by a newspaper....not an actual video film....

Could it be about that Danish cartoonist from Aarhus who is now permanently being guarded for those turban efforts? ;) ;)

We will never know the truth due to the handpicking of people to investigate, it's as simple as that.
