Sasha:
Olechka, because we wanna hold in with Poles. :) Is it prohibited by international law?

Do not be so patronizing; it is quite sickening.

Alex -
for once, I have to agree with Olga. In this context, "Olechka" is very patronizing and it diminishes your credibility, not hers.

January 22, 2010 (Less than 3 months ago)--"Patriot missile deployment against Russia, says Lavrov...Poland is giving the impression that it is strengthening its defences directly against Russia, says Moscow's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov. The patriot missile battery should be in situ by 2011."

Did you hear how the widows of the deceased on board have had access to their bank accounts blocked? What do you make of that? I can't see a wealthy politician with 7 kids wouldn't have had a joint account with his wife, especially in Poland, where women run the roost.

lets keep it 50/50 woman/man hah, still it doesnt strike me as too abnormal, still, 9/11 widows turned into a money scam.

Putin blocked those accounts of course. He used a гнат to threaten the bankers :)

Time at 50 seconds on the dot. And then what do you hear few seconds later? Bang. Bang. :-P

Progress? But it is still not sounds Russian.

Russian close analogue to your English translation is: Davai otsuda, suka! A word "kurva" you can rarely meet in modern Russian, just in books.

If you prefer something sounding like "gnata" it is "gnat' " or "prognat' " (soft "t' "). - Means "put someone go outhere" or "drive away".

In the example as above it could be: "Davai gnat' ih otsuda" - "let's drive them away from here.

Just a lesson of Russian.

"Davai gnat' ih otsuda"

This is it, then, I'm almost certain. Have a listen right at 50 seconds. They start talking at about 38 seconds... I wonder if you can make it out. The time at 50 seconds is much clearer, which is where that phrase is shouted. And then the shots fire just a few seconds later.

By the way, "gnat'" mean not very polite way to drive someone from some place. It may mean even something forceful or somewhat threatening. So. I can imagine few shots to air just to get full attention of crowd that is so shocked or nervous, so cannot understand words of law enforcement official at once. But I never seen that by myself during my life, just heard about one such case. Police officer that shot at least once from their weapon during their duty shift is already somewhat in trouble. Investigation is mandatory, and they will need to prove that their use of weapon was legal and necessary. So, it is highly unlikely, but still possible.

I simply do not have speakers on this computer to hear soundtrack of this flick. Maybe someone can separate soundtrack from flick and amplify it by some software that used to recover old recordings?

I wonder if you can make it out.

I wonder too - because in this meaning it is in line with sounds behind the scene I heard on this video: officials trying to put public away from the site and showing direction to car drivers (emergency, I suppose - sounds of fire trucks sirena support it).

I can't comment about shots - from my experience it's unlikely that someone firing shots in this situation - even to drive public away. But who knows? It is also easy to check with numerous witnesses.

The exact word for that in Polish is "wygnać" which means to banish with force. Yes, it's the exact same meaning in Polish. Okay... I still have misgivings about that whole video. It chills me to the bone.

The exact word for that in Polish is "wygnać" which means to banish with force.

The words " wygnat' " or " prognat' " means the same in Russian and used almost equally as often as verb " gnat' ".

Well, then...I think we might have something here.

sounds of fire trucks sirena support it

That sounds like a train blasting its horn.... There have been reports that no fire trucks or ambulances were called out so soon. This video is reported to take place within minutes of the impact. If you look at the aerial shot of the crash site, you can see residences just to the right--it would only take them seconds to run there. Well, if you get "gnat" out of that like I do, and the identical word in Polish is wygnać--shots were for sure fired to scare them away. Wygnać / gnat have threatening meanings in both languages.

I simply do not have speakers on this computer to hear soundtrack of this flick. Maybe someone can separate soundtrack from flick and amplify it by some software that used to recover old recordings?

Use headphones, if you have any somewhere. I'm not high-tech enough to pull that off.
But I have headphones on that cover me entire ear. There's a lot more that's said by the other guy with the scared Russian, the older guy, at 1:19 minutes but I have no idea what it is. Can one of you translate? Also, what is the exact translation of what the guy is cursing? I get the gist of it, but just curious.

You don't get it.The Russians were trained to talk as polish in order to appear that Poles assasinated the crew on the ground.

That is not even remotely Polish, I can assure. I have headphones on now as we speak.

It is not because they were not trained so well and used russian words instead.
