[quote=Harry]Firstly, the German authorities don't give a flying fcuk about his conversations:/quote]
it is right of Polish father/mather to have personal talk with his/her child on their ancestral language. If German state don`t understand then, let German state provide translation to itself without jeopardizing primary human rights of Polish parents

German state maybe have money (for now) but, plenty of money simple can`t erase fact how is German state actually backward. Savages

I understand ur point crow, but don't forget that the German state is actually doing quite a lot since they have 9% foreigners. That is sth u don't play with.

This one is a delicate case but not the norm.

Do u know any administration which is flawless?

I understand ur point crow, but don't forget

we can talk all day long... but, i would remind you that there are people who suffer, who are directly affected with problem. And there is no time. Those people need urgent support. Today child is 5 years old, `tomorrow` already 10, 20, life goes on. Language form psychic life of child/person. Who can dare to steal someones child, someones life, someones personality?

What would you do if somebody separate you from your child and in the same time meddling in your personal communication with the child?

what would you do? would you accept any explanation for your destroyed life and hopes?

Noone, of course and as I said. Which administration is flawless?

I would try to make my problem public, via press, lawyer etc. Draw attention.

To all, please keep on topic. thank you.

Polish is a exotic language for Germans, infact i know nobody who speaks polish and im from Thüringen, which is not that far from Poland. I think its for historical reasons. Germans never had to learn polish for economic reasons ect.

Im sure if i go poland, i could not speak german there as well. Its not meant in a bad way.

Once more, as I posted earlier on this, I feel that if I were that Polish father, I too would charge discrimination,
lawful or not:-)

No, English is definitely NOT "understood" by everybody, not even close, judging from my vast experience with the non-native foreign born over
the past nearly twenty-five plus years in both the classroom and the courtroom.

While I surely can't realistically disagree with Weimarer that for most everybody outside of Poland, Polish remains a largely unknown, perhaps too exotic, tongue, if I were a German living in Germany and someone spoke to their child in a public setting in any language other than German, still the national language of Germany, I too might find it bothersome, especially if I didn't really understand what was being said,

Granted innumerable Germans have learned English vs. Polish, it's the principal of the matter which is at issue here.

By the God, I was child when I started this thread. And topic is actual as it is fresh news. Humiliation of Poles continues. Sure, things changes considering that Poles learned to milk EU. At least that. But on the long run, Poland is in problem having less and less Poles in Poland. Same as rest of Slavic and Eastern Europe.
