To the Polish citizens on PF, if you plan to vote (if not, why niot?) -- who will you ast your ballot for on Sunday and why? One concise sentence will suffice from those not in the mood for a lengthy political tract.
Who are you voting for in the 2010 Poland's presidential elections and why?
I will be voting for BK. Reasons: I want to see no more senseless obstruction by the President to our goverment's actions or hear stupid claims/stipulations that the President's office co-governs Poland. Go Bronek go!! :-)
i'll do the same and much for the same reason
I`ll vote for JKM
My vote is for JKM, too. I don't want the Komar (Mosquito), I don't want the Kaczor (Duck), I want the Korwin (Raven).
Plus, he has the most liberal views of all.

The man who wants guns everywhere. The man who feels that women shouldn't be allowed to vote or travel anywhere. Is that what you want? He's a wackjob!

Yes.
what`s wrong with with guns ??
or travel anywhere
What are you talking about?
Do you prefer Komorowski who wants to introduce 35% paritet for women in parliament???
Want me to show you, jeden? ;) ;)
He feels women shouldn't get so smart or leave the country. It's called reading between the lines.

he is against women right to vote, not right to candidate. Ofc it is rather showing desire.
there is no real posibility to introduce this idea, due to our constitution. I would like to remind you that Poland introduce women's suffrage before UK did it. Don`t worry about it.
His point of view on women is controversial and imho we should focus on other more importatnt things than unreal ideas
I agree, he is controversial and an old git. Then again, so are the rest. I'd vote for Napieralski, he seems to have Scottish roots :)
Polish government sucks enough... Poles do not need another old fart with XIX century ideas...

the Kaczor (Duck)
Why do i see a link here?.. ;)
I'm not voting. The reasons being:
- Been living outside Poland for long and not in a hurry to come back
- No candidates that I could identify with (I'm fed up with voting _against_ instead of _for_, if you get my drift)

i vote for JK
Lets be honest, its Kaczyński or Komorowski, and Komorowski in last month had more mistakes than the rest of presidents from 90 in total. The only chance would be that Tusk will have under control every word that Komorowski will say.. well i dont like Komorowski, if it would be Tusk i propably would give my vote for him. but not this old idiot, i prefer other old idiot :D
yup, im against it as well, its good thing you are not voting

JK would be a poor choice. He has been known for cooperating with undereducated peasants and with nationalistic far right. Would anyone want to witness that again? A destructive choice indeed.
Well, there are plenty of those around so he is on solid ground ;)
There is election silence today and tomorrow, guys. This includes the internet. Try to respect that.

no one I will vote.
After a mature consideration I decided to vote for Kaczyński, the lesser of two evils.

Screw that. It's a stupid law and in the true tradition of Poles everywhere - if a law is stupid, it should be ignored :)

A thoroughly idiotic Polish concept that bans people from talking about the election until after the polls close.
Nobody gives a toss anyway. Whatever loser comes into power comes into power. Oh, I'm not speaking when I'm typing, Jola, so you can come down from the ceiling and behave yourself. I'm being quite silent!
Oh, I don't get to vote as I've only got a Polish wife and over 5 years in Poland. Election silence, LOL

but could you vote or not? are you already a citizen of Rzeczpospolita Polska? ;)
I have to check up on that, zeti, there may be a hitch or two. I'm sure there's a paper or 50 that I have to sign first.
I`ll vote for JKM

Kaczyński, going to vote now.
As a EU citizen I voted (and will vote) PO in local and European elections.
The Duck would be a disgrace for this country. At least his brother still was the more intelligent one.
He thinks the world stops at Plac Wilsona and is stuck in the 19th century. The only good thing I can tell for him is that he is not tainted by any corruption scandal. He presides a party full of scary laptop-destroying underlings though. Or using WSI files to intimidate political opponents.

3 minutes left...
Kaczyński, going to vote now.
Just voted, Duckpospolita Polska +1 vote :)

Cheap rhetoric figures instead of solid arguments ftw!
