Should Poland Remove Visa Restrictions?

world socialists like me should be able to travel to any country without any permission.

As long as there are strictly controlled quotas on the number of bloody pamphlets, flyers and manifestos you can bring in;)

Also you should have to waear a canary yellow jump suit so those who want to can avoid you.

Europe should close their borders for any non-European.

i for one as noneuropean say this is acceptable.
do you also accept any noneuropean close their borders?
lets do it. and see who will lose and win.

i am sure you will try to pass borders by your weapons then.
you need oil, gas, etc, etc.

As long as there are strictly controlled quotas

no need to travel for that.. i already doing that all over the net without any visa.

New roads? Yes and they're built to the same standard as German ones, if you meant that new projects are shoddy then thats outright bull.

The why the hell do they keep rebuilding the road to the A4 in Wroclaw? How about the yearly "fix the massive gaps that have developed"?

Nope. enough money to repair (somewhat) already bad roads from communist time but not enough money to strip them off and build new ones

What is being done with those €68 billion in structural funds other than to control the zloty?

Quite fast.

That's interesting as I understand that the project has been put on hold. Not much going on when you look out the window..

Now google who's managing it now:))))

We were talking about construction. It's always been Polish owned.

Also use google once more for current management and co-investor:)

Again, it's 100% Polish financed, and German built.

Based on your non-existant experience?:)

Didn't really care to comment on the concrete examples? Fine, here's a one for you. MB in Wroclaw, I don't mind shaming them. I had to get the rear end on my SLK replaced (shock loading), took it to MB in Wroclaw, a new rear diff was sent over from Germany. Managed to install it and I picked up the car. A couple days later, notice there is oil on the trunk lid. Took it back in, and MB says they have no clue. They tear it down and stick by their guns and try to tell me that it wasn't broken in properly, and that I needed to get a new rear end. I'm livid, I pack up the rear end and fly to Germany to meet with the AMG area rep that I bought the car from. He manages to see it right away, MB PL failed to fill the rear end with enough oil. Metal ended up grinding on metal, and the gears got a bit hot. He makes a call, three days later my car is good to go with full apologies. That's one, I have one about aircraft maintenance too if you want to hear that.

Could you please point out that poor quality produce? You know specific brands? Or would you like to see pictures of Wrocław directly after the war and after we rebuilt its centre for an example on Polish Quality?:)

Sure, the apartments built on Reja in Wroclaw are horrible, the ones that were built by Odra in Biskupin could use a level. The PZL SW-4 is a junk, and the gliders that PZL are known for, ahem, build quality issues.

Uhuh you realise its not the NBP that kept the zloty low? In fact BNP has nothing to do with?

You do know that RPP is part of the NBP right? I'm sure that you also know the role that interest rates and bond sales have on currency.

Have another read, just because they changed the taxation form doesnt mean the tax got lower and as far as i'm aware no it did not drop down.

You do realize that we're talking about tax rates relating to FDI, we're talking about corporate tax rates, right?

When i was at my aunts i never heard Poles calling each other "Pollocks" on the contrary its a very offensive term.

Pollock is a fish.
"Polak" is as offensive a term as as "Amerykanin". So if you call us "Amerykanin" then you are a "Polak".

Since you're obviously not Polish and prejudiced towards Poles what the hell are you doing posting on boards about all things Polish? Love hate relationship?:)

Since your obviously not American and prejudiced towards Americans what the hell are you posting things about Polaks in America?
My brother hired some Poles for his construction company. What a disater that was. They could not understand inches and feet and wasted time exchanging inches into cm and meters. They could not figure out a pound, they thought their way was better but "their" way doesn't work in American constructions. They were the worse workers yet they thought they knew everything. Maybe in Poland they did, but not in this country.

Poles are good, hard workers, but in Poland. Things are done differently in America and they either can't or won't adjust to different situations. They still think the Polish way. Some Poles in America are very good workers but they accepted America as it is and are happy to be here, not the ones that come here and degrade everything.

You have to admit Europe as a continent has pretty much everything, and the best of many things.

I was talking to an investor earlier today and he said he was glad Germany was running the EU as they dont feed you any crap. First time ive ever herad that! but i have to admit some truth in it.

Yes, Europe is amazing on a lot of levels.. just very expensive is all and kind of crowded. Everybody should visit it at least once.

'Polak'is just a normal Polish word, Amerykanin too. 'Polak' is not offensive here in Europe.

That was an excellent exchange between convex and Socrates about Polish workers.
They are both right, and their debate is a perfect example that one should not generalize. It's seldom just black or white.

No they aren't...they are quite cheap that's all.

That can be said about quite a few nations..poor quality, but high output.

As for visa restrictions, I hear that they are changing a few things with regards to EEC members brining spouses to the UK. Im also in favour of stricter visa controls not loser ones, most UK innercities have already been trashed by certain minories, can you imagine if our boarders were open! NO THANKS!

Given that 24 votes are against it it doesnt but its still not representative of what Poles think, this forum has maybe 30 active Polish users, the rest are foreigners.

The poll was opened by a Pole :) ... and many Polish voters would definately vote for the first option ... while others may have different opinion with all the respect.

How do you know? I dont.

while others may have different opinion with all the respect.

I was born here 27 years ago and i live here for that long, i have a better idea of our society at large, with all the respect, relatively open as we are most younger Poles are scared sh*tless of the possibility of having Muslims here.

You are not a Pole. And we are not scared of anything. There are scary cats everywhere.

And no you are not accurite.

By the way, everyone in the world is not Muslim.

By the way, everyone in the world is not Muslim.

Yes, the simplicity of many people on this forum has them believing that there are Muslims and "us".
It seems obvious that everyone in the world is not Muslim but I understand why you wrote it.
Also every Muslim is not out to "get you".
I agree, this is just scaremongering of the masses, the "Big bad (fill in name of a fashionable minority to hate)" is coming to get you!

You are not a Pole.

Ssij klawiaturę £ódż, yes i am :)

And no you are not accurite.

And You are not accurate.

By the way, everyone in the world is not Muslim.

And i'm quite open to white non-Muslim European immigration.

Also every Muslim is not out to "get you".

True but instead of trying to find the ones that are in the crowd its easier and safer to deny access to all of them.

Yes, the simplicity of many people on this forum has them believing that there are Muslims and "us".

So you're saying that Muslim society at large has assimilated well into the greater European community? I'm not saying "us" and "them" i'm simply sceptical of Islams ability to cope with European civilisation without attempting to exploit, abuse and subdue native Europeans.
