Poles and rest of us needs strong Poland

Yes,I quite often confuse serbian and polish girls.There is similarity only if you hear them talking you understand the origin.Or if you pay close attention to the nose and some facial characteristics.Otherwise they are quite similar.(the same darkened-yugo,whitened-polish).

I don't know if you hint at this, but Crow never lived behind the Iron Curtain. Yugoslavia was not part of the Warsaw Pact, not behind the Iron Curtain and it was relatively easy to go to Yugo on hols.

If Crow has such a romantic soul, he should go and write novels about the subject. But right now he is propagating things that aren't really realistic and probably never will be as Serbia is herself steering towards EU-membership in her efforts to ridden herself of the image of "rogue state". And she should celebrate that as it will be one of the very few times she is not completely alone. And we've seen in the history what happens when she feels left all alone with perhaps the only consolation a vague, far-away ally whom she loved dearly, but who didn't always returned the love and wasn't truly consistent in supporting her through thick and thin.

I think Crow writes a lot of true things but in peculiar way,he uses a personal language.Maybe it appeals only to Slavs.I was surprised to find out how many common views we have with Serbs.Crow just expresses it rouch and in hyperbole.

That's what I said: let him write a novel that takes place in Sarmatia or Slavija. He can end it the way he wants it to end :)

Who knows, might be a best-seller as well...:)

You cannot understand him because you don't have the proper images.For example a sentence like ''Tusk is a dictator'' means ''Tusk although elected by voting does not represent peoples' opinion because he gets direct orders from EU leaders which are quite non-objectable in nature.So he chooses a stance which stands in contrast to polish peoples' will.''This would be a translation to make the sentence comprehensible in western audience.

Yeah...and what people with common sense "don't get" is that Tusk got elected with the polish peoples will so he expresses rather than contrasts the stance of the polish people.

It might hard to accept for people like Crow so they talk to themselves that Tusk is a dictator and not the elected head of the polish people....it's easier for them....;) But doesn't make it true!

he has those robust Dinarid genes and you recognized Serbian. If i presented somebody more gracial (there are two variations of Dinarids- gracial and robust types), you definitely couldn`t be sure is he Polish, German or Serbian.

but see, on Balkan on the source of those Dinarid genes in time when Ice age finished West was born. Slavija was/is mother of the West

I think he should write a novel.. :) Another one depicting the bravery and romanticism of a Slavic soul, the knight who comes and rescues the lost and impoverished one...the kind of books I read as a child.

You 're right the true and romanticized Slavic knight is gone and should get down of his horse,but there is nothing wrong with living a legend. I just don't think Crow should be banished and ostracized because he has the deep Slavic feelings. I'm a Pole in heart - I understand him even though I don't always agree with him.

no i never claimed to know the truth. the truth is only smoke and mirrors and everything is
subjective, think i'm repeating myself here? i'm simply suspicious of everything that is given to
us by ppl with vested interests and the way that historical events unfold, especially last 100
years or so. i don't believe in conspiracy theories but conspiracy facts. am i stupid and easily duped? of course but i just strive to be more resilient to swallowing that bait hanging at the end of any propaganda stick. i look at any historical so called "fact" thru the kitchen door ie who made money on it. war is politics by other means but politics is economics by other means. i think that hard work and determination, not divine influence, are the key to our success in the future and if there is to be a base, a springboard if u will, why should it not be

our blood link. guess what i'm trying to say sausage boy, if push comes to a shove i'd cut the sausage in half and give one piece to my czech, slovak or even serbian

just, problem is that by reasonable some people consider Poland`s servile role in international community. Meaning, official Poland not only deflect to speak of Polish interest but actuality attacking those interests.

Crow, define the Polish national or public interest, please. It's a constitutional law idea, as well as others.

Crow I like your romantic ideas about our country. But are they realistic ? Why do you speak about the slavic race, do you really think we can create a new Soviet Union, where we all love each other ? Look at the past my friend. And you can be sure, that the polish people doesn't want to create anything with the “slavic people”

So if I could give you my political advice, I would say, forget about your Slavic rhetoric. Cut it out, and start thinking how you can paint your picture with Poland only. There are lots of polish people, who feels disappointed about the EU. And for all you EU-lovers, I would just point out, that the rhetoric in the western countries about Poland, is not good. I'm writing from Denmark myself, and all I hear is “they are steeling our jobs” and so on, you all know the drill. The Polish people are not pleased in the union.

It makes more sense to talk of a self-sufficient Poland. Poland's strength doesn't come solely from within and that should be borne in mind. The EU plays a key role in that.

in weakening or strengthening of Poland? Slavic Poland?

At a functional level, the EU strengthens Poland, Crow. At a geopolitical level, well, that remains to be seen. With PO, Poland is well and truly onboard the EU train and gaining momentum. It is getting stronger but must be careful when it comes to gas deals with Russia. Currency-wise, Poland is doing fine when compared to many others.
