Monthly Smolensk Commemorations in Poland!

There is no reason at all. President Jaśkowiak has stood up to Macierewicz, and made it clear that if the Army doesn't want to come, then the real heroes of Poznan '56 - tram drivers and nurses - will form a guard of honour instead.

People in Poznań are absolutely furious over this - they see it not only as Macierewicz hijacking the memorial, but also an attempt by Warsaw to dictate a historical policy over Wielkopolska.

Seems that is some kind of hoax to stir the water. All that is so far an unconfirmed rumor by the GW know for spreading false info in the past and mayor of the city that is clearly part of the bad looser club - PO.

Given that Macierewicz has already demanded it on several entirely inappropriate occasions, it's hard to see how this could be a hoax.
