Poland Interior Minister awards himself a medal, then refuses to accept it

Even by the standards of the PiSlamic State, this is utterly bizarre!

The story goes like this: there was an announcement published by the ministry which said that somebody named Mariusz Błaszczak, who was son of a man named Lucjan, had been awarded the golden "Merit for Fire Protection" medal for "long service, professional work or social activities for fire protection." The Interior minister is named Mariusz Błaszczak and is a son of a man named Lucjan. So journalists from Polsat wrote to the ministry to ask if the Mariusz Błaszczak, son of Lucjan, who had been awarded the golden "Merit for Fire Protection" medal was the same Mariusz Błaszczak, son of Lucjan, who is the interior minister. In reply the ministry wrote back and said that the medal had been withdrawn because "The Minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, refused to accept the medal".

But, the Interior Minister is the man who approves the issuing of those medals is named Mariusz Błaszczak and is a son of a man named Lucjan, the very same named Mariusz Błaszczak, son of Lucjan, who was awarded the golden "Merit for Fire Protection" medal and then refused to accept it.

That is really amusing. The truth behind it that a minister usually approves by signing any documents containing (rather) long lists of people being awarded. This is interesting from the point of view of those who made this list since they should definitely consult the minister before placing his name on it which I expect they did not.

Harry you slime. You seams to be happy with every opportunity to discredit Polish government. Your critics aren`t with intention to correct but rather to humiliate.

But let me tell you something. Crucial mistake of official Poland is NATO membership what puts Poland in same club with criminal and terrorist British and some other regimes. If you don`t like Poland Harry, go back to Britain. Rejoice in lunacy of your ugly country from within.
