Orban has backing of above 50 per cent of Hungarians

And has earned EU censorship into the bargain.

As I said, decent people everywhere deplore his racist bile.

Now (and for a while), he's employed

Probably by the Soros mafia.

I don't follow the circus (no time and no desire to do so) but as to the jerk not paying his alimonies to his ... 8 kids, I'm most shocked. First of all, when someone cannot support so many (or any) kids, they simply do not have any (so many). Also, instead of spending all his time in the streets, he should rather look for work and in the meantime sell whatever he owns (flat, car...) in order to feed his kids.

Having 8 kids and not being able to support any of them shows irresponsibility. How can such a jerk be taken "seriously"? I'm sure most Poles feel the same way I do. Furthermore, his "look" does not make him very serious either in the political sphere.

In the UK its deducted from fathers pay check by the government. Pretty hard to apply art to avoid it.

His business - and do we know the whole story?
Are you saying that Ziobro and his gang are saints? **** me.

Not only in UK but everywhere in the "western world" and sometimes even prison sentences for irresponsible fathers. I don't understand how the guy can show his a...ss and provoke Polish authorities. In the meantime his EIGHT (quite a bunch ;) ) kids have to live in hardship because of him. He may be waiting for the 500+ program to feed his kids ;)

@Doug: the others for sure are no saints but be honest, do you think a guy in his personal situation can be taken seriously? I don't expect politicians to be "angels" but there is a minimum of decency to demand....

If you are talking about Kijoswski, the man deserves a medal.

Poles are generally apathetic and need others to fight their battles for them.

The term "spineless" comes to mind........

Wow your anti-Polish stances are becoming more and more open.
As for spineless? That would be Brits.

i concur

What Orban is doing will be judged by a higher authority.

Interesting that you insist about Orban being fascist when i as a person from the region telling you that people in Slovakia, Serbia,.. thanks to Orban and willingness of ours sides re-conciliate with Hungarians and deal with opened questions from past (from era during Austro-Hungaria and when Hungary accepted German Nazi policy). So i see Orban as man of peace, anti-fascist and hope, while you who live outside of region see Orban as fascist who must be stooped. I suppose, when `you` or people like you stop Orban, Hungary would again become democratic and aggressive on its Slavic neighbors Slovakia and Serbia and that would be alright.

You are joking, surely? We had Civil War a few generations ago. When we are up against the wall, we fight.
You cower, and in later years mutter "Oh, communism wasn't so bad."

Lol.

So i see Orban as man of peace, anti-fascist and hope

The Americans see things differently. So differently, that Orban and his gang are banned from entry.

Those brave Brits who fought so bravely and ran in Dunkirk.
What about those Brits who needed foreign pilots to save their faces in BoB.
Such tough people hahah.

Back on topic please

This entire organization, KOD, is financially supported by Soros, its no secret. It has nothing to do with Poland, or protecting "democracy" or even being decent, and majority of people involved in it are of known heritage. All this apart they have no support whatsoever and even if it came to early elections PiS would win again.

When we are up against the wall, we fight.

Don't know what you mean but I think you are confusing a thugs life with bravery.
By the way which guest username you are using here? I'm not going to guess.

You cower

Listen being ignorant can get you only so far. I expect an apology dough or you will feel my wrath punk.
While you lot were loitering and sitting on your fat asses cutting profits off yet another won war, Poles who borne the main burnt of the war were being killed and hunted in their on country courtesy to the HMG who sold them down the river without bating an eye.

Hell they didn't go without putting a fight. Yeah but what do your know? Squat all! So when you come the next time here all high and might you better bring your own plastic bag for packing up what's left from your sorry English ass.

KOD are bunch of commies, collaborators and traitors and he himself sis just a leftie pansy who cross-dressed to get some attention to his lazy hippie and downright dumb mug. Also they know very well (better than you at lest) they don't have a popular support of the populace and there a people out there right form PiS who would love nothing better then to make a mince-meat out of them KOD-fekkers.

You are so clueless you rainbow doggie walker that it beggars belie that you are actually have under your belt a two decades of living in Poland, it could have been on the moon and nobody could tell the difference.

A Civil War like 360plus something years ago? Yes you are definitely a genius. It is a wonder that you can tell a difference between your head and your dog's tail, can you tell apart your left and right leg - wow I'm impressed if you do!

You know never mind, now run along and bay yourself a loopy pop or some other candy and say halo to your handler.

You lost me there. If that nationalist clown Kaczynski says KOD are so, then we know they are in fact the opposite:)

A Civil War like 360plus something years ago?

Yeah, and most of your population let the ZOMO and Polish Army subjugate you in Martial Law.

You lost me there

So what it is Dough are you only a sad troll or you are some kind of the low key operative doing your bit on the Internet social media? Somehow it is hard for me to believe that you are that stupid. Maybe it is me giving people to much credit.

If that nationalist clown Kaczynski says KOD are so

First of all he is not a nationalist, second of all it is not what he says but what I and many other people are saying.

Could that be that you are nothing but a regressive left? If so don't be talking about facts you wouldn't recognize a fact if it would bite you in your rear end.

Yeah, and most of your population let the ZOMO and Polish Army subjugate you in Martial Law.

So what a history from the years past, to be precise from 360 and some years past have to do with ZOMO and whatnot in a different era, a different country and completely differed circumstances? Nothing ( a hint).

Not when you get paid cash teaching english living in Poland.

Nothing ( a hint).

Ask Poles then.

Oh, of course you can't - because you're not here. I'll tell you then.

There are plenty of Poles, who have never lived anywhere else but in Poland, who wanted to go out on the streets after Martial Law was declared and persuade the young conscripts to change sides and fight along them, and fight the Soviet garrison on the streets.

But of course the overriding majority were cowed by their own criminal police and armoured cars on every street.
We British wouldn't have tolerated the scum and would have smashed them.

Next?

To the credit of both demonstrators and the authorities there has been no major violence on either side, I am proud of the fact that the Polish people are choosing the path of peaceful demonstration.

Dougpo "We British wouldn't have tolerated the scum and would have smashed them." I applaud you patriotism, But this would only be true of your fathers generation.

Ask Poles then.

Ask Poles what? I'm asking you as you are the one who has brought forth that nonexistent connection between two very different and distant historical events.

We British wouldn't have tolerated the scum and would have smashed them.

Yes, you would in the world behind the old wardrobe or in other parallel worlds which belong to children and fiction writers. It is somehow devilishly weird in recognizing a childish or a senile sentiment in one claiming to be 58 years old or is that given by the token of one living in the fantasy land.

and fight the Soviet garrison on the streets.

That would go well, I'm sure. Other than that you celery have no notion do you?
The bold toppling of the Soviet installed people should be undertaken after 89' but by then the lie of the round table and Walesa, Michnik and & as heroes were installed and majority of the populace were fooled and nobody was any wiser and a few people who knew better were pacified on way or the other. Anyway without popular support, recognizable loud voice or whatnot they were doomed to exists on the fringes of post-commie society or to leave.

Other than that you celery have no notion do you?

We were talking about Kijowski and whether or not he is a good citizen.

I am saying that he is - upholding democracy and helping to bring the facts of this government's disdain for democratic law to world attention, as an individual needs to.

For Poles have a history of doing precisely nothing in such cases, as they expect others to do their dirty washing for them.

Maybe however my father taught me that "it's better to be an alive coward then a dead hero."
We won't have to wait much longer to see how patriotic the British handle the situation that will explode in this next generation.
My guess is that they will be fleeing to Poland to take refuge.

"it's better to be an alive coward then a dead hero."

That's not the point Johnny. Many a patriotic Pole was crushed mentally by Jarelzelski's betrayal in bringing the conscripts into the street in Martial Law, and would have gladly fought to retain their dignity - but of course the scum was too clever for that, and manned the tanks and armoured cars with the citizens' own children, young men barely out of their teens.

Scum, and history will reward those who were brave enough to go on the streets, while the population as a whole didn't try to turn the military, as Yeltsin was to do years later.

but of course the scum was too clever for that, and manned the tanks and armoured cars with the citizens own children, young men barely out of their teens.

That wasn't the best part. The ZOMO forces were recruited from young, angry men with little financial means. They would approach them, offer them the best of conditions and also help out their families. The men were then brainwashed into understanding that their comfortable existence depended on their support of the authorities, hence they were more than willing to stick the boot in to others.

I wouldn't be surprised if PiS repeat exactly this tactic.

I wouldn't be surprised if PiS

Boring, predictable and brainless PiS-bashing morning, noon and night... And you claim ZOMOS were brainwashed into repeating pro-regime mantras, except mainly they were uneducated small-town and farm boys. At least they were getting paid. Are you a paid PiS-basher or just a useful idiot?

No it's not is it. Time for PIS to come clean and honour the true patriots who fought for the freedom you have now.

Of course, you (Poles) are too dumb to see the truth of the matter.
