Demonstrations in Poland in defence of democracy.

all PiS have to do is to accept

Even if they did, PO PiS-bashers will find some other pretext to destabilise things, then another and a thrid, fourth, fifth, sixth.... You don't really think the disentitled losers' sense of frustraiton and resentment at falling from grace will miraculously evaporate if some judges get sworn in, do you?

"What are you doing in my country"?

What he mean to convey is a very simple fact that if you want to stay in Poland (or any other country) you should respect local customs, sensitivities and you should display in a certain degree acceptance of its culture. In your case as you hardly speak the lingo of your host country and in an occasional outburst you roar about alleged superiority of your British breathed you failed to meet criterion which would allowed you to a right to have a say on Poland internal and external policy. That is a very British of him isn't? lol

Do you get him now?
Personally I think that your are either a very dense individual or you are trolling, hard to believe that after 23 years in the country you cannot communicate properly in the Polish language.

Other then that say what you will even though those ramblings of yours lack a real value or inside.

If PiS don't like it, they just have to obey the law. It's not difficult.

Remember these are people who have no shame in arguing that black is white and white is black; that and their permanent atmosphere of hysteria.

Without any regard for the effect this has on the country.

permanent atmosphere of hysteria

Finally you have provided an apt description of KOD's shenanigins: permanent atmosphere of hysteria. I couldn't have phrased it better myself. And that is not a drawing card for investors.

A very weak response - normal for a PiS supporter.

But as usual, you'll have to try a bit harder; the markets lost confidence in the unconstitutional National Socialist PiS regime before the ordinary people even thought of coming out to make the Polish pro-democracy rallies.

lost confidence

Just like Michnik who declared fascism was coming even before the election results were in. Do you deny that daily media reports of irate Greeks in the streets for months on end made no impression on the outside world and both torusirts and investors rushed there to get in on the action?!

Cobblers, Po. The markets aren't swayed by an editorial in a non-English language newspaper, nor was there much coverage of the PiS attacks on the constitution and on the country. Their declared policies were enough to deter major investors and the memories of the damage caused during their brief period in office a decade ago did the rest.

editorial in a non-English language

But no-one can miss BBC, CNN and domestic TV stations, DPA, AFP, Reuters, ANSA, AP et al as well as Internet news sites and English and other print media leading with massive street protests sweeping the country week after week and week... That is impressive overwhelming, intimidating and business-deterring to be sure!

But no-one can miss

You seem to think (or pretend) that the markets and the business environment is as easily led as hysterical PiS supporters.

Although markets do take fright easily, that fright is based on hard figures, concrete data and intelligent analysis. Hence the instability caused by the National Socialist PiS regime causing the economy to tank.

Are you so swayed by the media? Probably, though having sometimes worked on the fringes of it, you should know how it works.

hysterical PiS supporters

Of course hard facts and figures are the key, except that those now available are quite positive: dropping unemployment, low inflation and predicetd up to 4% GDP. So all they really have to go on is the Michnik/KOD doomsday predictions and endless anti-PiS hate speech that gets reported in the world media. Not to mention the hysterical KOD marches themselves -- disgruntled ranting, chanting, placard waving mobs all over the country. That DOES make an impression whether you admit it or not.

hard facts

And the hard facts are that investors and the markets do not trust Poland at the moment - the exact amount of capital flight won't be known for a few months, however stock prices and returns on bonds show that the PiS instability has caused huge damage already. The worst is yet to come.

The ordinary men and women who attend the Polish pro-democracy rallies are yet another symptom of this, rather than the cause.

The so called pro-democracy rallies are aided by western organisations who also help finance these demonstrations and undermine Polish efforts at financial, social and cultural independence.

rather than the cause

They are both a cause and effect. The unmitigated anti-PiS hate speech reported in the world media and the sight of hysterical disgruntled nationwide KOD protesters streaming through the streets week after week, after week, after week... do make an impression whether you like it and whether it fits your propaganda line or not. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Exactly, however, it effects stupid people most, but not only, the young the most ones susceptible ones as well.

protesters streaming through the streets week after week, after week, after week

A sad state when ordinary people are moved to do this. The real damage to the economy has nothing to do with the TV coverage of the tens of thousands of normal man and women who attend the Polish pro-democracy rallies; instead it is all about the instability caused by attacks on the constitution, on law and on justice.

That and memories of how horrendous the Kaczynski gang were when they were briefly in power a few years ago. So short a time, so much damage; PiS must really hate Poland.

PiS must really hate Poland.

It starts to become really obvious that PiS have an obvious interest in destabilising Poland.

Just wait until KOD really start moving - this weekend saw the start of systematic fundraising, which should translate into significant results later on.

KOD really start moving

Yes, moving in circles. The good news is that the Michnik/KOD hysteria and Petru/Schetyna snicthery have backfired. This just in: THE EU HAVE DECIDED NOT TO ADOPT A RESOLUTUION ON THE SITUATION IS POLAND. There are far more pressing issues such as terrorism and the migrant/refugee crisis.
jon357  73 | 23224
25 Jan 2016 /  #1399
And do you think lustration is an important 'pressing' issue?
OP delphiandomine  86 | 17823
25 Jan 2016 /  #1400
Funny how lustration stopped being an issue for PiS and their followers as soon as PiS appointed endless ex-PZPR clowns to top positions.

89 delegates to the Council of Europe's Assembly were opposed to holding a debate on the situation in Poland and 14 abstained.
May be the KOD ranter-chanters will hold a picnic next Saturday instead of trudging through the slush. LOL!

LOL. Yet another major failure of KOD protesters. Failure is what they are. :)

That and recovery of state property handed out for almost nothing to those who faithfully served the communist regime as propagandists etc.

No wonder ordinary people are turning out on the streets to take part in the Polish pro-democracy rallies.

major failure of KOD protesters

Germany's "Nürnberger Zeitung" regard the EP's Poland debate as a smoke-screen "The EU have totally different problems. Perhaps their energetic actions in response to alleged violation of democracy in Warsaw is a way of diverting attention away from their total incompetence in dealing with the refugee issue," the paper wrote.

E-administration project from 2014. Another failure of PO. We will probably have to repay over a billion of zloty to EU. Thank you leftists.

25 Jan 2016 /  #1406
state property handed out

What about ex-PZPR member Balzermann's so-called privatisation -- selling off nearly all of Poland's industrial assets to foreign concerns for a song (and probably a hefty kickback)? Indeed, the commies who struck the roundtable deal

won out on trasnforamtion and that's what it was all about. Now they are marching under KOD's banners. One of their slogans could well be: "Dawniej wiernie służyłem w ORMO teraz głosuję za Platformą!" (make beeline for Google translate).

Another failure of PO

Also the shipyard rescue by mysterious Arab investors, the slashing of bureacracy that ended with 100,000 more clerks, the promised crackdown on the designer drug trade and pedos (chemcial castration even?), the incompelte roads ahead of Euro 2012, and the list goes on....

Balzermann

Who?

make beeline for Google translate).

Why? It's simple enough to understand, despite being your usual spewed propaganda.

No wonder so many ordinary people turn out for the Polish pro-democracy rallies. I'd say long may they continue, however the sooner the snap election is sorted the better.

ex-PZPR clowns

Ex-PZPR members including Balcerowicz, some 30 PO MPs and even senior functionaries of the commie regime like Miller and Kwaśniewski will not be prosecuted unless it is proved they collaborated with the SB or used their position to commit a crime. So if you've got evidence against any of the above or the PiS appointees you claim are so "endess", get in touch with the IPN.

systematic fundraising

Fund-raising -- some will be eagerly volunteering ot help take up the collection. Naturally out of sheer, heartfelt and unrestraiend love of of KOD (LOL)!

E-administration project from 2014

Would that be why PiS have actually caused a considerable amount of trouble by cancelling the crucial components of the new system, such as the abandoning of the hated zameldowanie system?

Remember they love the idea of control.

When they're out, as soon as an election is called, their successors will have to sort it all out. Rather like the mess they caused with the dodgy contracts for Modlin Airport, which then had to be closed due to a badly built runway - of course they were out of office by then.

No wonder people come out on the streets against them.
