comparing Nazis to journalists.

They are not journalists, they are propaganda tools, was Jerzy Urban journalist too in your opinion?

How tasteless

One could think that for instance propagandist Lis making millions of taxpayers money is tasteless. His recent show with Petru as a guest was particularly "outstanding". PiS would have to give Macierewicz his own show in TVP and make him run interviews with Kaczyński to reach that "level".

See how anyone that opposes PiS is immediately described as "a tool".

PiS would have to give Macierewicz his own show in TVP and make him run interviews with Kaczyński to reach that "level".

I think we can all look forward to high quality shows that discuss how evil the opposition is and how great the government is doing.

Kaczyński's not a fool, he knows fine well that Putin controls Russia through the TV and not through force.

I find it interesting that PiS supporters can't really justify what the government is doing on procedural grounds and so they're limiting themselves to saying that PO was worse etc.

What do people think about what Prof Jadwiga Staniszkis wrote? Until a few days ago she was a fierce critic of PO (probably still is) and staunch supporter of PiS but she's publicly criticised the actions of the PiS government and apparently now is public enemy number one.

Among other things she said that President Duda is compromising himself as a president and a lawyer. Apparently her loyalty to the rule of law is stronger than her loyalty to PiS.

Why should anyone be sacked?

Cause they suck at their jobs and are inheritably unable to provide info instead of working as propagandists in the service of pro-PO agitprop.

Isn't a diversity of political views a good thing for public TV to have?

If you think that you should wholeheartedly support PiS legislation.

We all know what the PiS agenda is.

Sure we do, they don't hide - yes for improvement.

Lis making millions of taxpayers money is tasteless

Lis is such a worm that any decent human being cannot help but feel a deep disgust on hearing his relentless vile lies.

Kaczyński's not a fool, he knows fine well that Putin controls Russia through the TV and not through force.

You are a fool if you think that Putin controls Russia through the TV. If we for the sake of discussion assume for a moment you are right isn't is that exactly what PO and others post-communist forces have been doing for years in Poland?

Same commie secret police equals same methods in all post-communist countries.

Ironside, my "invisible" native Polish Pen Pal sent me this and thought it appropriate to share here.

"Poland's new government wanted to get their newly-elected 5 judges on the Constitutional Tribunal and the previous government started screaming that it's against democracy.

They failed to mention that they have already killed democracy before because the current judges of the Tribunal are all from their party.
The Tribunal accepted everything the previous ruling party wanted and didn't protect the people at all.
The idiots let themselves be fooled by the traitors of Poland and started doing ridiculous demonstrations against the election of those 5 new judges from PiS.

The PO still has 10 judges who work for them and there are only 15 judges of the Tribunal.
The new government didn't cower and did what they wanted.
PiS wants to get PO (the traitors who sold Poland) away from everything. I think it was a great idea.
Now German press bashes PiS - when German press writes bad things about a decision of Poland, it means that the decision was totally right.

You know who demonstrated againt the decision of PiS?
Communists and their children who are losing their money and positions because of the new government.
You would be surprised if you knew how many Polish politicians, journalists, people from media are children of communist parents who torturted (in every meaning) Poles during the communist era. You'd be surprised."

That is from a Pole that was born and raised in Poland who hasn't been brainwashed with propaganda by the media.

The Tribunal accepted everything the previous ruling party wanted

Not at all. This is blatently false. Note that they rejected the nomination of 2 of the last PO appointees.

didn't protect the people at all

This is not the task of the TK.

Yep, that more or less sums it up nicely. I would add that constitution in Poland have been written hastily by commies and dilettantes and need to be changed because is full of contradictions.

Democracy is overrated. So is freedom.

Lol at Poles thinking that democracy is worth defending.
Lol @ Poles not wanting their country to become a fascist, nationalistic state.

It is unless one define's it your way: diversity = PiS-bashing and PO-brown-nosing. And democracy means 14 PO appointees on the TK and all of 1 form PiS.

How rude to make such a statement weeg.

Democracy is overrated. So is freedom.

They both beat the hell out of communism now don't they.
Poland is standing strong to have their independent democracy from foreigners influence.
Poland, like any country, choose to run their own country without others telling them what to do.
The German press is a prime example of such propaganda influence.

It's not our fault that it simply was worse.

What use is a democracy if you've got parties such as PO that will gladly screw over the nation's interests just for the sake of submitting to their EU overlords?

They both beat the hell out of communism now don't they.

Apparently not, they voted it back in, minus the anti-Catholic Church element. The steps taken by PiS are pure Putinism.

Poland is standing strong to have their independent democracy from foreigners influence

Don't expect to seen another free election, you are seeing one-party rule being installed.
Grzegorz_  51 | 6138

parties such as PO

They would never win elections without the media (externally controlled) promoting them 24/7 - in such case, that's not democracy anymore.

you are seeing one-party rule being installed.

You are a feckin joke.

I got a feeling that you dislike what you tagged Putinism. Apart from your likes and dislikes can you give a description of what you called Putinism.

Frankly anyone who supports this nutter Kaczynski has a screw loose. And all the idiots on this page spouting anti foreigner rubbish should go to hell. The EU doesn't need a nutter heading one of its member states. If the cult members of PIS want to return some land to the dark ages perhaps they should take over an uninhabited rock in the South Atlantic. We (British) may give them South Georgia. Perfect spot where lunatics can survive without disturbing the perfectly normal and intelligent European Poles. To all the ridiculous Poles that support this idiot, you are a laughing stock. You make your country a joke. A banana republic. You are indeed Europe's village idiots.

Frankly anyone who supports this nutter Kaczynski has a screw loose.

Many people with intelligence see that PIS is the lesser evil compared to PO.
All the foreigner Brits spouting anti-Polish rubbish should go to hell.

Poland must do everything and anything to prevent itself going the way of the decadent West.
I mean who the heck would want to become another Uk or France?
Nations which annihilated, raped and murdered millions of people and colonialized other people acting like they are somehow superior.
Makes me sick.
In a century or two there wont be a Britain but an island of foreigners.
So keep your lunatic politics to your own country and leave the normal people of the world alone.

Its a shame what kind of foreigners Poland has accepted and so many appear to be British with their backwards idealogies.

anyone who supports this nutter

Anyone who supports this nutter Petru, a puppet of his oligarch masters, should have their head examined. That guy has already meglomaniacally delcared himself "the leader of Poland's opposition" and displays clearly overheated ambitions to bid for the presidency next time round. Heaven forbid!

Indeed, they most likely will share the same fate that happened to the Roman empire, they vanished because of foreigners.

Stop lying you little cowardly weasel.

Frankly anyone who supports this nutter Kaczynski has a screw loose

Hmm nice and convincing argument. Are a screwdriver?

And all the idiots on this page spouting anti foreigner rubbish should go to hell

Your direct and candid manner is refreshing, keep it up, good job.

The EU doesn't need a nutter heading one of its member states

A happy coincidence Poland doesn't need the EU.

If the cult members of PIS want to return some land to the dark ages

Interesting turn of a phrase. Whaddya mean?

perhaps they should take over an uninhabited rock in the South Atlantic

Wait, I don't know much about biology, are you talking about Madagascar? A nice place for singing lemmings.

]We (British) may give them South Georgia.

WE? What are you? Some kind of modern version of a Lord Protector himself that you speak on behave of all Brits? bhahahahahah!
Anyway you mean to say - sell for an inflated price - nah WE pass.

Perfect spot where lunatics can survive

Speaking from personal experience, are you?

To all the ridiculous Poles that support this idiot, you are a laughing stock.

Hmm...thanks? I think you have been holding back all that long enough. I hope you feel better after venting your feelings.
Yawn.. what's new? I'm sorry but I don't just don't care enough to be bothered. lol!

Indeed, they most likely will share the same fate that happened to the Roman empire, they vanished because of foreigners.

Chronicle of the deeds of Richard I
Richard of Devizes, late 12th century, English chronicler:

All sorts of men crowd together there from every country under the heavens. Each race brings its own vices and its own customs to the city. No-one lives in it without falling into some sort of crime. Every quarter of it abounds in grave obscenities. The greater a rascal a man is, the better a man he is accounted... Behold, I prophesy to you: whatever evil or malicious thing that can be found in any part of the world, you will find in that one city... You will meet with more braggarts there than in all France; the number of parasites is infinite.

All the foreigner Brits spouting anti-Polish rubbish should go to hell.

Nay, they can have they say after all Poland used to be famed for its freedoms, not even commies or European directives can affect our tradition. All Brits in Poland spouting rubbish can keep exercise their right to spout rubbish as long as they don't lie.

In a century or two there wont be a Britain but an island of foreigners

Geez are you another oracle on this forum? One is a quite enough let me tell you.

So keep your lunatic politics to your own country and leave the normal people of the world alone

You see that is not possible as they are international fanatics running among with their ideology - progressiveness a grandson of Marxism.

Its a shame what kind of foreigners Poland has accepted

Now, that is a generalisation that is a bit unfair, after all not all foreigners in Poland post on this forum. Although it might seems that level of brainwashing their received in their home countries schools is not less debilitating that than of a commie regime. The difference is that all are aware of the brainwashing and bias in the case of the commie bias, whereas when in comes to ideology poured into their brains by schools in their own respective countries they seem to be blissfully unaware of that.

so many appear to be British with their backwards idealogies

Hmm appears it is the right word to describe that phenomena. I would add courtesy of le Tresor de la langue anglaise. lol!
Yes progressiveness and all those ideologies that are in fact progeny of the infamous Marxism are backward.

Indeed, they most likely will share the same fate that happened to the Roman empire, they vanished because of foreigners.

Another panicking fellow human being. Seems as you are being influenced by the place you dwell in.
Scaremongering, that nothing new under the sun. The most famous scaremongering pseudoscientist was Malthus who succeeded in getting many people go bald before their time.

Limit the amount of quoting please.

Democracy is overrated. So is freedom.

We don't have true democracy or freedom.

If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it. If you think you're free, try going somewhere without money.

If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it.

The investment theory of party competition or the investment theory of politics is a political theory developed by professor Thomas Ferguson - Right Turn: The Decline of the Democrats and the Future of American Politics.

The theory focuses on how business elites play the leading part in political systems. Sometimes it is summed up as: elections are occasions when groups of investors join together to invest to control the state
