Polish Independence Day March in Warsaw. Is it going to be the biggest march yet?

For me,this guy says it all intelligently.

Stefan Tompson? He's an absolute joke for so many reasons, not least the fact that his actual connections to Poland are weak at best. He turned up here a couple of years ago hoping to get money from the Polish government, and I know someone from PiS who openly ridicules him as being a village peasant.

He's also well known for his racist views concerning South African society.

His sister is just as bad, and they're both well known for publishing false and misleading information about Poland in English.

Why do you post so much bile?
The guy is a Polish patriot......but you don't like that do you?

He's not a Polish patriot at all. He's an slimy opportunistic toad, just like his sister that got a cushy public sector job in Poland after writing some articles that bashed the West.

Your opinion,as a Scot living in Poland.....

Not an opinion, but a fact. He's a slimy, disgusting toad who uses Poland to further his own racist agenda.

I for one rather dislike such people blackening Poland's name by association.

Your posts show that you don't give a tinkers cuss about people blackening Polish reputations.
You do it all the time...a one man Poland hate machine....

He's an slimy opportunistic toad

So, let me get it straight. Is anybody who is employed and criticizes the West a "slimy opportunistic toad" or just he? What would he have to do not to be a "slimy opportunistic toad"? Get fired or quit writing?

I am just trying to figure out where that missing "therefore" would fit in your sentence.

Francis Fukuyama, a famous political scientist, has deleted today all of his tweets which criticized Polish Independence March of 2018

Be like Francis. Admit when you're wrong :-)

when those outlets criticize Poland or the US, I am even more impressed with Poland and the US.

I can agree with that...I feel the same when Germany is trash talked by the likes of Dirk or Spike, never been prouder! :)

Foreign criticism tends to do that...

...and so do trips out and the returns home.

trash talked by the likes of Dirk or Spike

In their defense, if you get past the edginess, they represent a deep and nagging concern, if not the fear, that their race is in decline on so many levels. The anger comes in with the realization that we, whites, are actively supporting the decline - a suicide in slow motion. It's not a pleasant feeling, just as being told that you (editorial) have terminal cancer. If the issues is stated that way, I am in agreement with both of them while fully aware that, personally, I will not be affected by any of that.

@Bratwurst Boy,

The only reason Germany IS the most civilized, enlightened country she's ever been is because of people such as Angela Merkel who fly the banner of tolerance...even when it's inconvenient for a spoiled generation of post-War boomers!

She and those like her are adamant in their determination to exorcise the ghosts of her country's Nazi past one horror at a time:-)

Yes, what could be more tolerant than giving state support to a bigamist child sex abuser? But I guess if you look at it just soooo... then those that oppose child brides and state tolerance of polygamy are the real bigots....

Well...I get it...but why do they have to repeat that all the time? It get's tiresome...

personally, I will not be affected by any of that.

Nobody here will be. That is the future world of the young...and the majority of them seem totally okay with that, so...*shrugs*

@Maf,

She's not entirely responsible for the slime who come into the country, try as she may to separate the wheat from the chaff.

@Bratwurst Boy,

My answer is like the late Sir Winston Churchill's remark about democracy: "It's the most ineffectual form of government around, but do we have anything better?"

You reveal your true colors constantly. Perhaps you and your ilk would have been happy if Otto Remer's nationalist party had replaced Adenauer and perpetuated the years of the Third Reich, eh?

Trust you're just being a provocateur, a bit like your Jonathan Meese.

try as she may to separate the wheat from the chaff.

She did not try at all, she said (in essence) that she would take on all comers... that makes their behavior her responsibility

And it's not like those who were vetted are much better...

Well your chat seems to reveal a strong inclination towards AfD, PEGIDA and the rest of that rot.
Maybe I'm wrong. Hope I am. It'd sure be a shame to lose my favorite sparing partner:-)

@Maf,
Being misguided doesn't make her a sinner, neither does being a slightly half-cocked do-gooder. The alternative is so unimaginable
in the light of Germany's past (which still hasn't passed away) that many Germans are willing to put up with her tactics.

Polish `sarmatism` was better then anything what ugly western Europeans, evil Italians and stupid like penis Greeks ever invented. But we Slavs are feed with studding of sayings of Churchill and many other morons, instead that we study our own, truly wise and venerable heroes and spirits.

Just for the record and for the sake of truth. Jews are Slavs are only people that deserve to expand in Europe and surrounding areas. Others are proven imbeciles.

You Poles are loved by God, Son and His venerable Mother and also by Glorious Grandfather Svetovid. You have general Radisav Krstic in jail in Poland and when you lose your nerves just release him and start to penisize infidels.

I am beginning to worry about you. Are you OK?
Why the f*** would you post this buls*** in a thread devoted to Poland celebrating its freedom? Are you capable of shame?

Always is good to celebrate freedom. Days of fighting for freedom are coming. It is the other question in what artistic way you state this simple truth.

Yet when you let them talk, and stick to the facts, they will start making fools of themselves sooner rather than later.

It's a mistake to assume that a majority of people can even be reached through argument, reason, facts, pie charts, etc. Most folks just don't care or refuse to even notice until it's dropped right in their laps. Like the old saying "we wait until a rainy day to fix the hole in the roof."

esquire.com/news-politics/a44782/donald-trump-the-wall

That's a pretty good article illustrating the phenomenon. An east-coast urbanite, educated and liberal, hates Trump and his proposed wall but travels to the Southwest and talks to actual people being impacted directly by illegal immigration and is surprised by what he hears. Even the majority of Hispanics down there hate illegals and want a wall!

It's just a sad reality of humans. We can talk and talk and show them Youtube videos and bar graphs and try to explain to them how the dominoes are inevitably going to fall and, sadly, a majority just won't accept the reality of it.

And this bs has to do with Always is good to celebrate freedom. Days of fighting for freedom are coming. how?

Don`t say that. Its not BS. Its therapy.

Truth is that I do have problem to find way to explain how deep is Poland`s politics out of mind. So, I concluded that Poles needs shocking therapy. You know, like when you giving electric shocks to nearly dead man? See, that.

Take this. Poland is in alliance with its mortal enemies. But not only that. Its only one aspect of situation. Poland`s politics goes even behind that. Poland`s politics helping to its mortal enemies to even more isolate Poland. No, its not only problem of some moronic politician. Problem is how is society set to function. Polish society have mechanism to annul everything that leads to positive change. And while you seek to find the source of problem in Poland, problem is actually sent from outside. See, its because Poland isn`t free. Poland`s politics is strictly directed from outside. True, most of humans aren`t free. But in Poland it got astronomic proportions.

So, if you love Poles, give them shocking therapy man. Only shocks.

@Rich Mazur

To give you plastic example. When Gavrilo Princip removed Ferdinand that was elimination of outside problem. Then Poland got its independence. Without Serbia Poland would be lost. Without that Serbian student. Think of it.

And what was problem that Gavrilo actually removed? Do you have nerve dobri brate to tell it openly and publicly? Do that for the love of Poland and tell me. What was that what Gavrilo actually removed and what was killing Poland. Give that answer and you got to it what NOW again killing Poland.

THAT is why THEY who killing Poland so frantically negatively portrait Serbs. They are terrified of Serbs. That what Poles hesitate to even accept, Serbs remove it just like that. Poles see it, feel it but they don`t believe their own eyes. So they need Serbs.

Now, I am not Gavrilo Princip. What I can is to give shocking therapy. That is what I doing.

So, if you love Poles, give them shocking therapy man. Only shocks.

So what up with you? Have you had one shock therapy too many or haven't you had enough of them?. Either way you would benefited greatly from the ban on your usage of the internet. Geez shut up with your autistic BS you claim to be artistic. Enough already.

Wot ?

lzyko is saying that you're a little Nazi in your hearth that love marching in big boots all over others. AH and that you are longing for a Dictator. Yes, I know He is a little off and quite strange insulted funny man with his ivory tower attitude and with many delusions. In fact he is detached from the reality and knows nothing about anything.

By the way The Independent Day March in Warsaw was a great success with over 250 000 people (some claim 300 000|) taking part in this only in the capital city not to mention all those celebrations that took place al over the country.

Great fireworks display in Warsaw too.

It hasn't been said but the independence Day in Poland is kind of the 4th of July in the USA.
