HIV infected Nigerian has bitten bus ticket's controler in Cracow!

According to yesterday's "Gazeta Wyborcza", the 33 year-old Nigerian national, who had bitten a ticket inspector in one of Cracow's buses, is HIV-positive. The man refused to show his ticket to the inspectors, and when they asked him for an ID, he attacked one of them, bit him in the arm and fingers, and jumped out of the window.It is not clear yet if the ticket controler has been infected since the test results are expected in 2-3 days.

It seems all of them Africans are HIV holders.Poland has to close the borders for them immidiatelly!

2/3 days still wouldn't give an accurate result. the quickest accurate HIV test can be done is 2/3weeks. There is a rapid test (results in 30 min) but this is an antibody test, so the results or reliability of the test is very poor. The most likely scenario is, they will have a rapid test but will have to wait up to 3 months for the official yes or no.

The Nigerian man, as should anyone who deliberately tries to infects someone, be put on trial for attempted murder!

It'll be enough to put him in prison and tell everyone what he's done.

Mind you, given the attitude of ticket controllers in Poland, perhaps it was well deserved.

To be fair, they have to put up with a lot of crap. I saw many punks give these ticket controllers a hard time. When you're asked for your ticket, show the fcuking thing and don't talk back. The vast majority of crap they get is self inflicted. The amount of stories in the press about their behaviour, the stories online - everyone knows that being a ticket controller is the lowest of the low in Poland - all because of their attitude towards people.

Why shouldn't someone talk back? At least here, they are expected to be polite and to announce the start/end of the controls. If they don't do the job properly, why should they be treated with any respect? Demanding a ticket in a rude way isn't going to win them any favours.

Let's be honest - he was probably threatened with violence. It's not like some "*****" is going to be able to get justice in Poland when ordinary Poles can't get it where ticket controllers are concerned.

HIV isn't as concentrated in the saliva so the worker stands a good chance of not being infected.

Well,I am not.It doesnt happen often in Poland that person caught on riding public transit bites conductor and then jumps thru the window.I was once caught riding without ticket and I didn't bite anybody nor was I trying to escape thru the window.That's too extreme in my opinion.Sure,at first I was pretending that I am deaf (try it,it's a lot of fun) but when they didn't want to let me go and I got tired of it I accepted the ticket,threw it away right after they gave it to me and forgot about it.

Acctually recently I got a letter from some collection agency saying that they bought my fine,went to court and I have to pay them 400PLN.It don't bother me at all because I am not going to pay them and there is nothing they can do about it.

I have been stopped by these idiots- and they took about 100 pln from me instead of giving me a ticket. The bus I was on was jam packed and I couldn't reach the stamper which incidently wasn't working in the first place.

hiv is not spread through the saliva. the inspector will not get hiv. but he will get a lot of attention and media coverage- which is probably what he wants anyway.

Given that those of us living in Poland routinely see the trouble that these 'controllers' cause on a daily basis, many of them being nothing but lowlife morons - it wouldn't surprise anyone here if he was.

Besides in the US + Europe there is now a treatement against HIV but Cancer + heart attacks kill more people in Europe the world than HIV

i don't know how many black africans in Poland have AIDS, but i do know that 15,000 Poles are known to have it.

if i were young and single i'd be more worried about playing the field with locals.

So is it the same on trains in Poland or are the Bus controllers a different breed to the train people? In the UK they are almost timid in comparison to what you guys are describing.

As for biting him, HIV or not he should be jailed because that is common assault. In the UK you'd at least go to court for even spitting on someone, much less biting them. Hopefully, he's just fresh off the boat and has not infected anyone so he could expect a jail term and deportation.

As for someone having a problem with immigrants coming and not respecting the rule of law, wouldn't you make a better case for your argument if YOU respected the rule of law and paid your fines... Two faced scrounger, you paid any taxes recently?
