This is one of those 50/50 stories.

It's very unlikely the cops went for this guy for no reason. In one of the linked clips under the youtube video, that shows the incident from a different angle, he does appear to be behaving in an aggressive manner to the police.

I agree though that the video also appears to show him being beaten with a baton as he is lying face down on the floor surrounding by police.

So it seems there are two questions that jump out and the answer to both is the same.

Did he deserve to be apprehended?

Probably yes

Was the treatment of him by the police too physical and over the top?

Probably yes

Small wonder as he has been denied entry regardless of being in possession of a valid ticket and a Danish man was waved in ahead of him.

Where do you know this information from other than the OP? Because it isn't apparent in the video.

There's no right of admission to such events. As far as I remember, even the Polish law surrounding mass events makes that clear.
