Seven men attacked a German traveller in Radom - reports the website wirtualna polska.pl quoting "Gazeta Wyborcza". The perpetrators overturned the man, kicked him and dragged him along the sidewalk.

The man travelled on a BMW motorbike from the Caucasus to the home town of Weinsberg in Baden-Württemberg. The man explained that when he rested in the vicinity of the "Naczelna Organizacja Techniczna" building after a long journey, he was attacked by a group of about seven people, who began to jerk him, pull on the ground for clothes, knocked over and tried to destroy the motorcycle he travelled. After which they escaped - says Grzegorz Sambor from the City Guard in Radom in an interview with Gazeta Wyborcza.

After a short chase, the men were caught. - The detainees were aggressive, did not follow the orders of the officers, therefore the guards asked another guard patrol and a police patrol for help. All the men who were captured were brought to a Police Station - Sambor added. At the police station, the injured traveller from Germany recognized the attackers.

The incident occurred on Sunday, 23 of September, at about 6:30 in the morning. The city monitoring operator informed the Municipal Police that a group of young men had attacked a motorcyclist in the car park.

Good that they caught them and it has been taken seriously. The courts will deal with the rest.

Do you think it will be fine to burn him in Radom? Apparently he had managed to travel safe across parts of Russia and the entire Ukraine only to be attacked in Poland by some Radom crap. Would you feel fine if you were attacked without any reason as a Serbian motocyclist in Germany?

No, of course not. But my first thought was that man was lucky considering what handwork Germans in past did in Poland.

Well, at least they didn`t burn him.

Why would they burn him?

that man was lucky considering what handwork Germans in past did in Poland.

You think the history of Germany is a reason to attack a German citizen?

If that were the case, Serbs would never be able to travel.

People feel frustration and have memory like elephants.

If that were the case, Serbs would never be able to travel.

Please. You know absolutely nothing about Serbs. Only thing what you ever got about us is thru BBC and CNN news. So, its nothing and its totally distorted.

See, we Serbs are free to travel. Entire Europe is Serbia.

You call it BS and fake news because it doesn't suit your political agenda. Notice that the name of the City Guard spokesman (Grzegorz Sambor) has been given to everyone. This is probably because they know people like you would be denying that the event ever happened and would call it "fake news".

Also, you can find the event described above by GW reported in the local newspaper "Mój Radom" which was probably the original source of information to GW. The paper gives further details: the perpetrators got on bus 17 (plate number 1025) after the attack and got off at the bus stop Limanowskiego/Szucha. The city guard patrol spotted them in Kosowska 32 street and then caught 5 perpetrators.

No, I call it fake news because it originated with the GW. It is not a first time they produced fake news, some of them you immediately copied on this forum.

Others newsnets just repast it mindlessly without verification of facts. I'll simply wait till some trustworthy source verify truthfulness of that story.

the event described above

Plenty of information given, certainly seems a reasonable media report. I suspect the court case will be reported too. A shame something like this happens, however at least it's dealt with. Radom (I visit sometimes) usually seems a safe enough place.

Please. You know absolutely nothing about Serbs

Really?

There's at least one whose

first thought was that man was lucky considering what handwork Germans in past did in Poland.

I actually cope quite well with all facts with which I am aware of. See, during WWII Croatian ustashe, sponsored by Germany, killed more then 20.000 Serbian children solely in Jasenovac death camp, and in total more then 1 million Serbs. They were killing while Germans were held us.

Not to say that ultimately those Croats killing Serbs were killing its own people because Croats are also Serbs. But brainwashed Serbs. Then again, those Germans that took part in all that evil were also Serbs in past. Not that directly Serbs but some Serbs. So what you think how is to one who knows all what I know and live with that? I can tell you man, its much multiplied pain then Jews feel because of holocaust committed on them. At least Jews are free to speak but Serbs don`t have that freedom. That much is this Europe and world distorted and you know who rule world and Europe (or to say, hopefully- ruled). You know from where coming that sickness. We all know it. And Serbs are not source of that sickness, we all know it, too. We all know everything but some of us prefer to support their chosen sides even in evil if necessary. Because evil happening to somebody else.

So I don`t rejoice for attack on that German. I honestly said- `he was lucky for wasn`t burned`. And he is lucky and I am happy for him. For sure he don`t deserve to be burned. No human being deserve that. Just, what crossed my mind, many of my people were not that lucky and never got chance, what is general Slavic unfortunate destine, after all.

So don`t patronize me.

I doubt that it's totally made up but... so 7 drunk and/or dugged duddes were coming back from the all night "party" at 6 AM and...

The perpetrators overturned the man, kicked him and dragged him along the sidewalk.

...how that even hit the national level news ? Seems he didn't even need any hospitalization... I'm sure there was at least a 1000 similar "events" in Germany over the weekend... in quite a few of these cases the victims must have been foreigners... and obviously such cases don't hit the national news over there. Of course unless the victims are brownies but that's another story. It's most likely not fake but it's spinned to make people feel "guilty" somehow...

Apparently, you...

only to be attacked in Poland by some Radom crap.

...do feel that way. How about you punish yourself somehow ? Maybe some internet prohibition ?

As you say,the story may have some truth in it,but it's definitely being spun....the question is why and by whom?

It just looks like a banal story about a foreign visitor being attacked by drunks in a smallish town. Nothing unusual here, and not much being made of it by the media, just unsensational reports.

It's something. Something serious. It's somebody who is as far as we know innocent of any crime (and even if he had personally done something bad in Radom, it isn't for members of the public to punish him; Poland is not lawless) who was attacked and injured for no good reason at all.

Practically delightful.

Those who delight in hatred will receive it back sevenfold.

Delightful is that German survived and point is that Poles have heart and aren`t savages as are many Germans and their many satellites, which are usually more radical and lethal. But in this case, we see how German continuing his trip after being turned in ping-pong ball for a while.

The person survived, people have heart. And the rule of law.

Yes, I'm sure they would. The few I've met have been fine people and entirely normal. I fear we aren't dealing with normal here though...

That's actually a complete irrelevance to the issue, Crowie. The most egregious issues of that conflict have been dealt with in court in The Hague already. Even if you think the victim of the attack in Radom was involved in the peacekeeping missions personally, it is still an irrelevance.

He was German spy?

Even if you think the victim of the attack in Radom was involved in the peacekeeping missions personally,

Eh, that is entirely new aspect of the case. Do you maybe tries to imply that beaten German was some German spy? If he was, I say, if he was a spy, no wonder that Poles, finding out about it, as decent Slavs and Polish patriots, kicked him. Still, they founded mercy in their good hearts and so German survived.

in court in The Hague already

What I see is that countries that sponsored events that led to problem and also later organized court in Hague have more and more problems, while Serbia consolidates and prosper more day after day.

Just some guy who'll get a bit of compensation under Polish law as a victim of an attack, and if he's any sense claim a lot more in a civil action in Germany if possible.

If the attackers have any past form, they could be looking at a stretch.

German court of late decided that polish court rulings are not automatically honored. So I think even if he would win a case in German court its irreverent. (provide that it is not a made up story)
