Having been extremely cruel to Poles in the last century which has caused majour distrust from Poles towards the Germans, I am shocked they would produce such insulting comedy in 2011. Nobody has really answered my question why Germans don't insult Jews (or even blacks) like this. It would be interesting to know how many Germans have contact with Poles on a regular basis?
That's a good question. Why doesn't the German media make a low-class unscrupulous Jewish guy who portrays his people as rats to be funny, into a German media star like this unscrupulous Polish guy who degrades his Polish people as having less then human intelligence? Its not like there aren't unscrupulous Jews who would do this. Every group has its unscrupulous bad apples.
Why doesn't the German media find a black guy who portrays blacks as apes? Its not like there aren't black people out there who wouldn't do that.
Or how about finding a low-class Russian who makes his Russian people look like retards? There are millions of Russians who would do this. Just look at all the Russian drunk/joke videos out there where low-class Russians make the rest of Russia look bad.
I have looked at lot of these videos on this topic of various nationalities being jokes about, and although they are unflattering to the nations and groups of people they are making fun of, I don't see any of them being portrayed as having subhuman intelligence like this Polish guy Marek is in the German show. The disgusting stuff this Polish guy does, really does make him look like he has subhuman intelligence. Like he's an animal. Or as the Nazi Germans would say about Polish people and Slavic people, "an animal in the form of a human".

Remember at school there were some fat kids who were called names and were miserable, and there were some fat kids who were cool? The difference was, that the cool fat kids had enough self distance to say " You call me fat? Whatever. I call myself fat too." .
No I never remembered that in school. I always remembered that the kid who was mocked and ridiculed (for any reason) and didn't stand up for himself, got bullied and mocked even more.
Same with Marek's sketches. He smears the Polish stereotypes into the German's faces. By being offended by this "ant-polish" jokes we show that they hit some soft spot. By ignoring them and laughing along we diminish the importance of those stereotypes.
Oh yeah that Polish guy Marek really showed up those Germans alright! LOL Why I bet all that imagery of Marek acting like he has subhuman intelligence because he's Polish will be rejected by the German mind. LOL
Yeah turning yourself into an ethnic punching bag so that people of other ethnic groups can feel better about their own ancestry at your expense is always the best way to have them stop bashing you. LOL!!
Yeah we see here in America how Jews and Black people have prevented people from making jokes about Jews being rats and jokes about Blacks being apes, because they NEVER spoke out against people making these kind of insulting jokes about them!! LOL

With all due respect, what are you going to say next? If you just allow somebody to keep punching you in the face, its good..... because eventually he'll stop, because his knuckles will get tired??
