sexual predator / slave trader

Explain? Maybe the word 'beat' was the offender ? OK, then 'surpass' or 'is better than'...
So there can be no doubts, wholesomeness was used here to mean the opposite of dissoluteness (loose morals).
Some may prefer a dissoltue wife. The Constitution allows you to think that way!

Explain?

The whole sentence sounds sick, I'm afraid. It's like talking about the merits of picking out a goldfish at a particular pet shop, or buying electronic equipment of a particular brand. The women in your sentence are nothing more than "wholesome" objects to be used by men - like sticks of fresh butter ready to be used for sandwiches.

So you've got no advice for anyone looking for a non-dissolute fiancée or potential spouse? Pubs, clubs, online dating sites are full of flirts, tarts and assorted good-time Suzies and party girls. Are you saying only slightly used, second and third-hand females exist and you are revolted by anyone who doesn't fancy one?

I wasn't giving advice, I was commenting on your objectifying statement. If you want my advice - look for a wife wherever you like going yourself. There are churches, chess clubs, gyms, museums, art galleries, crafts or cookery classes, and other places galore frequented by both men and women. And lose the virginity obsession. Non-virgin does not equal tart, and as long as you think it does, you'll only alienate the women who might have been interested in marrying an old bachelor.

Are you saying only slightly used, second and third-hand females exist and you are revolted by anyone who doesn't fancy one?

"slightly used, second and third-hand females" - there you have it, right there. The snotty, patronising attitude which will never do you any favours. I find it revolting, yes. To me, when you fall in love it should be with a person, not with their sexual parameters. Dividing people into "wholesome" and "second-hand" is about as ugly as it gets.

second-hand

A teaching nun once asked a class of 8th-grade boys whether they would like to marry a virgin and all hands went up. Then she turned to soemthing esle and showed them a beautiful white rose. Please look at it carefully, smell and admire it and then pass it round. You can imagine what the flower looked like after 30 teenage boys had held it. The nun made her point by saying that's what a girl passed from hand to hand is like.

BTW are you opposed to people saving themselves for Mr Right or Miss Right? Does everybody in your books have to sleep around?

What on earth was a nun doing asking such a question to young children?

So you oppose sex education for 14-year-olds. Maybe you're only for the type that promotes 'protected' premature copulation?

I don't call that sex education.

Leave such things to professionals, Polonius.

You definitely have an obsession with women and with sex, and with both.

So for you it's either virgin or total slut. Plus women are objects. When they have been "used" they are second-hand and worthless. I opt out of your universe.

Your use of the words "used" and "second and third-hand" suggest you think of women as possessions, not sentient, independent human beings.

As for your rhetorical question, I'll tell you what truly revolts me, and that is a man who would fancy a woman because she's a virgin, and by implication not fancy her if she wasn't one. It suggests you have a fetish about female sexual inexperience, which is a small step from paedophilia, or perhaps a symptom of sexual insecurity or selfishness (a virgin cannot compare you to her former partners and find you wanting).

Female sexuality is a wonderful thing, and brings enormous pleasure to a normal, unselfish man. It's not wholesome to fetishise women who subjugate their sex drives to measure up to standards set by men who, almost without exception, would never think to impose the same rules on themselves.

Actually he does. He thinks it is like going to Leroy Merlin here in Warsaw and take a woman out of the shelf. Not in terms of real-life relationships.

His idea (and of the other forum nazis) of wholesomeness is to have some girl, not working, preferably simple, did not study, sitting in church all day, voting PIS & some other deviation, waiting for a USD partner who cannot get a real partner at home. I have three women at home who laugh at this kind of attitude :)

Polonius' notion of Polish women comes from the history books. Today, Polish women are going to university in greater numbers than men, are economically and sexually independent and will love a man only if he loves and appreciates her for these qualities. Maybe that's why he despises feminism so much? He blames it for turning those dependent women into people who can choose who to be with.

idea of wholesomeness

Whoelsomenes means someone with principles and self-respect -- what have you got agaisnt that? The only eligible marriage partner accrforidn to you are clubbers, pub-crawlers adn sleep-arounds. There was no mention of education. A godd Catholic family (and I know a number of those) can comrpise two educated adutls working in their respectvie professions, raising children, running a household and finding time to do things together including having a sacramental life. That does not mean sitting in church all day, becuase how could they work in their professions professions and raise a family. If huibby is the better cook, he can fix dinner, and if wifey is more mechanically inclined, she can change the sparking plugs and oil filter..

The barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen stereotype you fancy so much sounds like something from an American hillbilly joke: Have you heard about the hillbilly who was so lazy he married a pregnant girl?

Nothing can beat attending a Catholic young-adult or academic ministry -- a repository of wholesomeness.

Complete rubbish, there are plenty of catholic slags, male and female. Catholics do not have the monopoly on chastity or decent values, neither do Poles.

Many religions regard Catholics and other Christians as rather loose in their morals! Of course that is quite a narrow view and incorrect,
people can have thoroughly decent morals whether they are atheist, agnostic, muslim , protestant , hindu whatever, it's not dependent on ethnicity or religion.
People are working very hard in many communities to show that Whites and Christians are equals, ( many communities see whites and christians as inferior ,prejudice works both ways) people like you put that work back hundreds of years!!!

Why also, does it have to be the woman who is the virgin? As a hardworking responsible female am I entitled to demand a virgin husband?

If a man is insisting on virginity then a woman has every right to insist on virginity too!!!!

Virgins are not the only ones with decent values, each person makes their own set of values and providing you do no intentional harm to other people /animals etc..... your values are as good as anyone's!

Indeed you are. It would be hypocritical any other way. I think what I read about Sweden a while ago was great: they fine not only the paid tarts but also their johns (customers). In fact photos of those customers as well as of shoplifters, pickpockets and other unsavoury types should be prominently displayed to warn the unsuspecting public. Except that the Helsinki types would start screaming about 'human rights'.
